There probably is some clone of Mario Party, the problem is marketing. For a game to enter public consciousness, it requires a lot of publicity. Word of mouth only works with certain game elements that are easy to share.
Marketing or ease of access is usually a bigger differenciator in game sales than raw game…

I’d say more around six minimum or more, since a lot of the value seems to be in understanding the clever parts of the designs. But if it’s ok to just have them play with the finished product (mash on the piano), probably lower.
