Then they'd have to rename it to Trans Detectives.

Cocaine's a hell of a drug.
"Fox (Looks Like a Lady)"
Weed? Any self respecting rock star wouldn't be caught dead with it. Cocaine or GTFO.
He can write another farkakte rap about this whole ordeal.
She was introduced in Season 7. In 8 she was no longer an FBI agent because she tortured the shit out of some guy in the finale of Season 7.
Season 7 was not at all bad. Sure it wasn't as good as 5&4 but it was miles better than 6 and almost as good as 1&2. Plus it gave us the awesomeness that was Annie Wersching's FBI Agent Renee Walker.
I have a feeling that they may try to pull that. Something along the lines of "She was the chinese mole but framed her husband when he discovered her secret. And now she's only helping Jack so that she can steal the drone controlling tech and sell it to the highest bidder/Chinese and retire to Argentina".
I'll be…
Yeah, totally. Jack taking hostages, shooting friendlies on their armor, calling Lt. Tanner 'son', it was a total blast from the past and I loved every moment of it.
This episode was as good as the episodes during 24's heyday. I almost forgot that its returning after a break of 4 years.
"Rape by deception"? What the hell is that?
Learn about it here.
I thought it was very clear.
Paul to Beth- No, just him being a douche.
Sarah to Paul - Yes.In the show I've no problem with the act. but its pretty much a textbook case of the legal concept of "rape by deception".
Rachel to Paul - No, I don't think so, need more info on Paul's perspective to be sure.
Henrik to Helena -…
What are you disagreeing with? I'm pretty much saying the same thing as you.
I'm not worried about its implications in real life. I know its just a sci-fi show. But that doesn't change the fact that it was rape. BTW at the time it happens, neither did Sarah know she was a clone, nor was she dodging assassins, nor was she in fear of her life, nor did she know that Paul was lying to her.
I kept wanting Rachel to pull out an ice pick and stab Paul just as she reaches climax a la Basic Instinct.
What he was doing was different. He was lying about his intentions/past/feelings, if that is considered rape than every douche who has lied to a woman to have sex would be considered a rapist. She was lying about being a different person.
The pilot episode was definitely rape. He was reciprocating because he thought it was Beth. Think of it this way, what if an identical twin had sex with the girlfriend/wife of his brother while pretending to be her boyfriend/husband. Its definitely rape.
Wasn't Paul also raped in the pilot episode by Sarah? You are right that it feels totally weird when the genders are reversed.
I think they objected to the volume of the blood spray in the opening scene. As long as you can't see something clearly you can get away with almost anything. They follow really weird Standards and Practices themselves.
Hannibal should definitely play "Don't Look Back In Anger" for Mason Verger.
