Jumping in soccer is minor compared to basketball, unless your comparing guards (bball) who rarely go up for rebounds to most soccer players. Then I agree with you. I'm comparing a basketball player who jumps to close out shots on defense and jumps for pretty much every rebound, it's a lot man, even in a pickup game.

I left out DB, because I gotta think that most can figure out it's a run play within 10 yards of running, but the combination of passing becoming more popular at younger ages and the realization that defense can be more tiring than offense has me including DBs, so I agree with you.

If only we could quantify the effort on the muscles to jump in basketball, get down into a stance for football and....chew gum playing outfield in baseball. Seriously though jumping requires a lot of energy and so does both getting into a stance and the explosion out of said stance. I certainly think basketball

Why you hatin' on beer snobs? Do you actually like miller lite/budweiser/etc? The only time I drink those is after my 3rd or 4th quality beer (Sam Adams, Harpoon, Dogfish head, Founders, Sierra Nevada, Magic Hat, etc.). After my 6th on a really good night.

Try to scare the living shit out of the person.

Shouldn't have left Minny. He was sooooo good then.

On the scale of portable gaming that starts at casual->involved->hardcore->insane

:-)

True, but the types of jobs that are created are a function of the technology available. Years ago engineers operated drill and lathing machines themselves to design products. Now it's all done with software.

I bet you love you post-apocalyptic media too huh? Got your bomb shelter stacked with cans of baked beans yet? How many dozens of firearms do you own?

Let's use the China test. People say China is kicking the US's ass, but do you want to live in China?

You're right in an idealistic way, and on many levels I agree with you. I am strongly in favor of the type of isolationism that the US had in the 1700 and part of the 1800s. However, times have changed and will continue to do so. We live in a global economy and so on some dumbass level pirates in Somalia, terrorists

Yes! Kill bad guys without putting American troops in harm's way! Build up that drone army so the rest of us can do better things with our lives. Think about this: with the popularization of drones we will never have another draft, ever. I actually see ten years in the future where drones are delivering mail and other

This is about debating whether we kill bad guys or not, this is about how we assassinate terrorists. I prefer the method that keeps American troops out of harms way, aka drone strikes all day.

One is impossibly thin and a practical size for everyone except those with NBA height and the other is... gaudy and not even the best phone on Android (see HTC One).

It's tough because almost every American has had a significant experience with a dog. Most people have a positive view of dogs and so when we hear that the weak ones are slaughtered we feel sad. I never want to see a dog tortured or butchered, but I have had my dog put down after it bit my siblings multiple times and

How does this man make more money than.....anyone who reads this website?

Not that I have $800 burning a hole in my pocket, but my main gripe with the current DSLRs available is the size of these damn things. Never owning one I'm not sure how durable they are, but they sure are big. Right now I'm using a Nikon AW100 which is no top quality camera, but it fits in my pocket and I don't have

Without the religious nutbags we would have a better future.

damn right. Shit looks like a red headed stepchild's ripoff of Xbox controller
