Fantastic finish, crazy. My initial impression was that it was a dirty move, but after reviewing that replay it appears more that the leader left that window open too long on the corner, and did very little defensively to protect his position on that turn.

I’ve always loved this car, definitely a future classic if not already. I figured this model would get about $7-8k, people are out there who want to buy it, just a matter of seeing who's willing to pay the extra over its value to edge out the other buyers. Mmmmmm.

Beautiful. Throw some good ol’ Mericahn steak into that bowl of linguine!

Despite not having the time anymore, I’ve always wanted to buy a 240 and devote all my free time to doing a passion project with one of them. Although I’ve wasted more than enough time in my heyday working on MK1 and MK2 VWs, so this should be a cakewalk comparatively.

It’s almost worth the $4 grand alone to find one not completely fucked with. NP after some negotiating!

Perfect. You have the future 200 and the Dart already in these photos.

I always thought of the Reventon as exactly that.

YES!!

I’d buy that for a dollar!

Love these old 6-series cars, and this one is perfect for a tiny project finish. I wouldn't be surprised if it was sold already. NP!

I’d make sure he double checks those brake lines....

Too much for this, CP. Though this post makes me miss my MK1 and MK2 Golf and Jettas, respectively. Oddly also miss continuously having to work on both because 80s VW.

Brown, V8, wagon, side-facing seats? Apart from the missing manual transmission, how much more jalop can you get? NP!

Yeah I'd have to see something for the rebuild and a closer look for 80s rust and gremlins, but sub-$3k for some mid-engine MR2 fun looks great!

Holy sh*t! That video!

Sweet opening GIF!
