I am loving all of this rally porn being posted in these comments!

Oh man, I thought I was the only person that thought Porsche Unleashed was the greatest NFS game ever. The physics! The Porsches! I'm wary of trying to play it now for fear of finding out that it's not nearly as good as I remember.

The Daytona Coupe has and always will be my most favorite car. Electric or otherwise!

HNNNNNGGGG!

The mental trailer alone just rocked the sh*t out of my brain. Complete with soundtrack!

Man, I came here to utter those exact words!

I've recently been window shopping new Subies to eventually replace my current WRX wagon, and can't help but find myself leaning towards some of the nicer Legacy models.

Fellow DMV lifer here. We're fine here in MD, I think it's just something everyone says about the opposing state here. And the fact that no one wants to get stopped by the VA Gestapo when driving through there.

F*@%, I'm moving to Finland.

Now THAT'S a shooting brake!

Do you think Thule makes that bike rack for my MK2 Jetta?

I'm just as surprised they managed to squeeze that thing in there, but you just don't un-WRX a WRX. CP!

Good ol' PG County!

I love unique finds like this, but this looks like a project you'd have to strip down and start over. For $7-8k maybe it'd be NP and a good starting point on a project, but no way!

I voted NP, assuming some negotiating wiggle room in the price to bring it down to $3000-$3500. It's in nice condition and has low miles, but needs some touching up and sourcing of some more interior. If someone were more interested in performance over just DD'ing an oddity of a car, you'd definitely upgrade the

I suppose it's about time I stop gushing over my '98 WRX and hop into the market for one of these. But I still love it soooo much!

I'm just happy to see two of my vehicles in the Elite 8 - '98 Subaru Impreza (currently) and '94 Jetta (though the Mark 2's will always be my favorite).

LOL I can't believe I've never heard of or have seen this show. I watched the entire video, but it took me about 20 minutes as I was constantly rewinding and pausing in sheer laughter and WTF'ness. I can't decide whether the tandem 2-3 cars air flips or the aerial 720's are my favorite things about this video.

'02-'03 Euro FWD models only, though if I'm getting a Phaeton I'll forgo the manual experience (that's what the manual MK2 backup car would be for!)

I almost purchased that manual W8 Passat a few years ago. I loved the engine (despite some of the horror stories) and the fact that it was an AWD manual made it even more alluring. I went with a Subie instead, because I could only find the wagon version of the Passat and preferred the sedan.
