It may be different in Australia, but couldn’t the dealer have just kept this for him/herself and not registered it? A relative of mine has a 2005 Bentley that he runs a dealer plate on and has never registered, it’s technically “new” but has something like 20k miles.

I recommend the MSF course to anybody who is remotely interested in learning. Here in Ohio, it’s only $50 and I believe it is free if you are under 18. Plus, the course is pretty fun if you’re a rookie.

Honestly, visibility has never been an issue for me in any car. Adjust your seat and mirrors correctly and use them. You will be amazed at what you can see.
