Individual stories. Only 1 2 and 3 were part of a continuous story, but they were still largely standalone because they focused on different descendants of a legendary hero with 3 being a prequel that is more or less the story of the “first” hero. You absolutely do not need any prior knowledge to play any of the games.

What bothers me even more is the 15 likes his shit post currently has on it.

I really fucking hate those checkout donation requests. It’s especially galling when I’m spending a couple hundred dollars at your store and you have the nerve to ask me to support a cause instead of supporting it yourselves. How about at the very least match my donation, or just donate that $1 out of your own

Which is why when at the checkout at any store when the POS system or cashier asks if I would like to add to my total so they can donate the extra funds to charity or any other cause I always say “no.” I can’t write that extra money off on my taxes nor is there any guarantee that the store is actually donating that

Edit: didn’t read the NY Times charts correctly. I do wish their chart that shows support for BLM race went back further than the beginning of 2020, it’d be useful to see how white people’s support for BLM compares now to 2018 for example.

That got fixed real quick!

What’s depressing is... that 50% I think makes them quite a bit better than most major game companies.

Wow, getting David Lynch -level vibes here... and I love Oblivion! What’s not to like.

You missed my point entirely.

So kind of like getting a star named for yourself under the astrological association records?

If it lets games run at 1080p with better frame rates that’s perfectly fine for me.

“A basketball card, so long as it exists and can be held, is a thing, and may hold value for someone, somewhere, someday, simply by virtue of existing in a physical space.”

Wow. Someone in the depths of Sony’s R&D program never let that idea go, it seems.

Oh good, glad to see someone beat me to this.

How quickly some people forget.

The future was 15 years ago

As a pokemon casual, don’t flame me, Arceus seems kind of unimpressive in terms of design. As the most powerful pokemon, as far as I understand, one would expect a design with more flair.

That’d just make things worse. Bigger streamers are often friends (or at least friendly colleagues) with some smaller streamers, and if you fuck over them, you risk pissing off bigger names, who might echo their efforts to a wider audience. And if you act against them, well, then even bigger streamers might take

Yes, actually, that is what the phrase means. Salting the earth was a method of putting down so much salt in an area that it killed off all plants and made it a struggle for anything to thrive there for a period of time. Some invading tribes would do it just to be dicks to any survivors left behind in raids. It is

Basically, it’s FF7 as you remember it, not as it actually looks. Cool.
