While I mostly agree with you, it’s not completely accurate that Siri will reveal any pertinent information when locked. I was able to see the latest call I received and placed, but most other inquires required me to unlock my phone before she would reveal the information.

I’m sure its also based off of location, common interestes, and any other general info that you “share” in common. So if someone has the same city listed, or the same community college, it doesn’t seem too crazy that they would be on “the List”.
