I agree that 30 Rock was more about general pop culture, but Scrubs was a more specific satire of ER with a lot of older pop culture thrown in. For the two clips I posted to work, you had to be interested in Scrubs, Bell Biv DeVoe and Sanford And Son. That’s a wide range.
