What cracks me up about Katy Perry is that since none of the big pop stars write their own music except for, I assume, Gaga, she’s not only shit at singing, but shit at picking out songs to sing. I suppose Max Martin or whomever could just be giving her the songs no one else wanted, but that’s funny too.

My feeling has been for a long time that audiences are extremely smart, and executives have started to believe that they’re not. Audiences will always be able to sniff out bullsh*t. Even if films start to be made with AI, humans aren’t going to f*cking want to see those.”

Call me naïve, but I’m always stunned when the wise course of action in a given situation is to simply shut the fuck up and people choose not to. Like, absolutely no one was out here saying “gee, I wonder what Sharon Stone thinks about Kevin Spacey” and yet she went out of her way to broadcast her idiot thoughts about

I’ve seen a few think pieces discussing nostalgic TV watching like it’s something that just started with streaming. Kinda ignores things like “Nick at Night” and day time syndicated TV that has been a thing for decades.  None of this is new

Almost like a woman with a book to sell and a guy with an album to promote are rehashing twenty-year-old gossip in order to get press attention. “Hey, remember when either of us were culturally relevant? Let’s go after those millennial nostalgia dollars and talk about that again.”

The promotion of this movie is hiding the fact that its a musical because musicals are lame and annoying and no one wants to see them.

Shows were not canceled immediately after 8 episodes if the entire world did not watch twice. They were given time to grow an audience.“

It would be interesting to do a Home Improvement reboot focusing on the modern trend of reality home improvement shows.

I really liked Old Derfel from the books. It showed him as an old, broken down but sharp old guy. You had Sansum lording over him as opposed to being mocked. The payoff in the third book and where it ended up probably got a tear from me at the time.

I blame the rise of cable. I was born in 1970 and my childhood involved watching 1960s shows like Bewitched, Gilligan’s Island, I Dream of Jeanie, etc. That’s what over the air television broadcast in the afternoons after school and before prime time. Yes, they weren’t great (well, Bewitched was a bit smarter than the

But are those abortion rates higher among teens in urban areas? Or just higher, in general. Because the fact that their are more rural teen moms(not something I would brag about) is because they don’t teach sex ed and there ain’t shit to do in the middle of a cornfield except drink and fuck.

I think the point was that he wasn’t a “mascot” or comic relief. He was a developed character with opinions and insights of his own. Which, at the time, was unusual for “the black character”. But the studio still treated him like a throwaway.

Now this, this I would watch a sequel of!

Oh dammit, this really stings. 3 Feet High and Rising was a pretty formative album for me. RIP legend.

Eyebrows should not have trends.

My first thought upon reading the article title:

Well, it is easy for him. He just has to watch the beginning of the episode and the whole crime is laid out for him.

there is literally no judgement or editorializing in this article whatsoever. it’s literally just the facts. i really don’t think i put my opinion in here at all other than to say ‘oh this is interesting’ and then relate facts.

You realize why David Zaslav was brought in to begin with. Every new creator wants to make an edgy, hip, break the fourth wall version of the existing IP and all consumers want is the classics.
