Yes.
Yes.
Your assessment is correct. However, that does not mean that him or his cronies can operate free from criticism, and with this particular clown car, it’s like shooting fish in a barrel.
I am not a Trump fan, nor did I vote for him, but his government is not illegitimate. If you win the election and you haven’t cheated (manipulated actual ballots) you won fair and square. Saying the government is illegitimate only weakens all the correct things you say after.
She will show young girls how to whore themselves out to a rich dude, and how to apply makeup with a paint roller and trowel.... also, how to give Michelle Obama speeches.
Old shows too! Monster (a disgraced surgeon who tracks down a serial killer whose life he once saved), Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, possibly Gurren Lagann, and currently working on Yu Yu Hakusho. If you loved OPM I definitely recommend Mob Psycho 100, if you haven’t seen that yet (less absurd but adapted from a…

No college player has retaliated, does anyone know if overseas players would retaliate against this kind of thing?
I recall discussing books in college, where we had to interpret what the author meant - which things were symbolism, examples of allegory, etc. I can’t imagine arguing directly with the author about what they wrote. Author: “I intended the stroller on page 55 to be a representation of the struggles of youth against…
That’s what I don’t get. He seems to be vain as hell, but NOTHING about him would indicate that. His hair is a joke, his skin is unnatural, he’s overweight, and he wears terrible-fitting clothes. Or do NPDs also have a kind of body dysmorphia where they look in the mirror and see hotness where there is none?
I am always amazed at how poorly his clothes fit. I’m not shaming him for his body shape, I’m just confused. We know he’s a man who cares a lot about his image. We know he’s a man who claims to have buckets of money. Why does he always look like he’s dressed himself from the clearance rack at Sears?
That shot of thin Chris Berman in the beginning standing in front of the netting is incredible. I’ve never known him as anything besides his current Jabba the Hut form. Actually, I’ve never even seen his legs because he’s always behind a desk. Does Chis Berman still have legs?
George R.R. Martin agrees with you! They're apparently friends and GRRM has stated and Cornwell does the best battle scenes of anyone he has ever read. Lancelot is scum for sure. I loved Nimue until she did those things to Ceinwyn and Merlin? I have to admit I struggled with Arthur too after what he did to Tristan...
You should definitely check them out. They're a big different than his other books but he's stated more than once that they were his favorite to write. Not quite as hopeful as some of his other novels and with a bit more ambiguity about the nature of religion and magic.
Gawd yes! Came here to post these myself. I have these books upstairs; it's probably time for a re-read. They're definitely dark and gritty enough to be some other studio's answer to Game of Thrones, and the character takes are all unique and excellent. I will never like Lancelot ever again. And I will always love…
This. Came here to say something along these lines.
The Warlord Chronicles are my all-time favourite books. I can't imagine Merlin (amongst others) any other way since reading them.
I haven't but I'll be sure and check them out! Have you read Cornwell's books? Also a great non-fiction book on the time period is Britain After Rome; I can't recommend it enough.
Can't really stand any depiction of Arthur after reading Bernard Cornwell's Warlord Chronicles. They really, really need to make this into a movie. It's got a lot of what you suggest as well as depicting the great struggle between Christianity and Paganism It's a fairly accurate portrayal of a) what life was like in…
