    That was an excellent article and a very interesting read.

    I say catcher heads to mound because he got crossed up and the pitcher threw the wrong pitch (very badly). He turns around and sees the ump down and his reaction to the “oh shit” moment is to do nothing. I think it is very unlikely that was intentional.

    I just watched that replay 10 times. No way that was intentional. It was so far inside. If they were going for the ump, you go high and pull the glove down.
