Arrow would like to continue trying to be “Batman but with a bow and arrow” on occasion

The penalty had nothing at all to do with blocking, did you even watch the race?

I think this is the right decision. As much as I have enjoyed the various Marvel/Netflix shows, they’ve all felt slightly stretched in the middle, yet seemingly rushed towards the end. Hopefully, this means that Defenders will be a lot more efficient in their storytelling.

This was a great show and it is a miracle it lasted as long as it did on CBS. I think the reason it survived is it started as a fairly generic, but well done, procedural with a gimmick (bread and butter for CBS) and only got deeply into the near future sci fi elements once it had built an audience.

If there’s anything we know about Durant and the Warriors, they only really start losing it from game 5 on.

I gotta go with Van Wilder on this one. The man survived not only Origins, but Blade 3, and has seen the dangers of Auteurs getting handed the keys to the kingdom and getting delusions of grandeur. Bigger budget means more cooks, means less freedom, means distilled product, which seems to fly in the face of

Miller wasn’t going to win this fight, and it’s probably best. The Wrap saying that Miller wanted a movie that “would compete with mega-budget superhero movies” kind of sounds like he wanted a much more traditional summer action tentpole movie than the first one was. And trying to fitDeadpool 2 into that mold sounds

Since 2009, Alex Smith has never had a YAC higher than 8th in the league (2015, his only top 10 finish). He’s mostly been bottom 15. The top 5 each year are the usual suspects: Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Manning, Rivers, Stafford, Big Ben, Luck, etc. Not really sure what your point is here if all the top quarterbacks in

They hired Blackberry employees? Trollololol.

If you switch the numbers in this chart, it applies to Russell Wilson instead

Precisely. There is a place for George’s unique brain to be a part of the creative process here, and I’d argue he should be involved- just not as a writer, and certainly not as a director.

George Lucas should be used to underscore the difference between plotting and actual writing. I’d love to see his plots for the Indiana Jones and Star Wars sequels, but don’t let him write shit.

Or just say, “One of the reasons the Netflix stuff is so good is that you have multiple episodes to tell stories and shape characters. You can kiss all that goodbye if you want them in Avengers: Everyone Including Your Mom & The Kitchen Sink War.”

Timey Wimey stuff. Also...comics.

She’s not good at cyber!

I liked Children of Hurin as that was an important part of the world of Middle Earth, however this story isn’t that important and has been told many times. It’s just another attempt to extract money as you said from Tolkien completionists.

Sorry, Patrick, the correct title was “What is Alex Trebek Hilariously Shits On Jeopardy! Contestant And Her Whole Crew For No Reason”.
