I kind of want that Gotham family to be the ‘Merchant of Cabbage’ (ala Avatar the Last Airbender) of the DC CW universe now.

More than once the premiere felt a lot like a brand new pilot for the show.

“Happy birthday, my son.”

If SyFy’s The Machine isn’t about the one from POI, then they should have picked a different name.

Of course CBS was a trendsetter and didn’t even know it. I hope you all step on a LEGO.

The door should have opened up to all their villains coming out. I want Sara to have Silver Banshee scream at her and accuse her of “stealing my act.”

Yeah, they needed bad guys. Machines have no personality much wonderfully snarky ones.

Lost some of what made the first one great but it was made up by Kara being the best super hero on TV with her fun and perkiness. Also Dig meeting J’onn

Doubtful. Limitless did better, probably cost less to produce and was still cancelled.

Supergirl got plenty of viewers at first. They just didn’t find enough reason to stick around. And while I did, I totally understand those who checked out. The show never really got better over the course of the season. Superman’s appearance isn’t simply about getting more eyes on it. It’s also about getting eyes

Really hoping this movie breaks the weak villain trend. Mads is too good to waste.

Fire Mage Sherlock taking on Necromancer Hannibal? I’m all in on this shit.

Holy crap, that is the most nuanced position I have heard from anybody. #Popovich2020! Make America have long term consistent success like the Spurs!!!

Why can’t he be our president? Timmy D would make a great secretary of state btw

I can’t imagine how you could be a successful NBA coach without being sensitive of race relations in this country.

Does.... does this mean that anything is no longer possible?

Wow. He ghosted on that job like he was some disgruntled teen who couldn’t even bother to quit his shifts at McD’s - but unlike that situation he was probably collecting pay at Verge too. I hope Apple sees some issues with accepting that kind of person on their staff as well.

When Nic Cage makes a movie, god flips a coin.

Lord of War was right in the middle of a real quality film block from Cage. Adaptation, Matchstick Men, Lord of War, and The Weather Man are all really fantastic. Then The Wicker Man showed up and it’s been Yeeeeeeesh City since (though everyone should get tipsy & watch Season of the Witch once, it’s epic in its
