“Adequate for their needs next season” - I assume you mean continuing to tank/re-build. That’s some bad logic if you’re suggesting they stick with a mediocre point guard over the chance to draft a potential franchise cornerstone at PG.

The C’s would take a franchise PG in a heartbeat. They’re leery of getting locked in to paying IT a max contract that would extend into his 30s, especially given how much of a serious liability he is on defense.

Uh, if he goes to the Lakers, he is most likely starting over Clarkson, with Russell sliding over to SG. I love Clarkson as much as the next guy, but he’s going to top out as a career backup, at best.

Gosh fucking damnit. Just seeing that image is making my eyes water.

It helps the “Isiah Thomas is such a monstrous defensive liability to his team that it *almost* outdoes his outsized impact on the offensive end of the floor” narrative.

Other way around. The first stance he had was Form III/Soresu (the same one he used against Grievous, in fact, he’s in that same pose before Grievous attacks in EP3) . He switches to the Form IV/Ataru ready stance for some reason, then back to III when Maul actually attacks.

To be fair, I’m not even sure I’d call Doc a Top-5 coach anymore. Maybe when he swapped teams back in 2013, but now? The longer time has gone on with this same core team, the less impressive his coaching decisions (use of his bench, not staggering starter’s minutes, even some odd out-of-bounds plays) have looked.

To be honest, his work on the Nolanverse Batman movies also stand out to me. Same goes with Batman’s sad theme (the intro/flashbacks to MARTHAAA) in BvS. Shame the movie was so shitty, the “Beautiful Lie” track is amazing.

The fun fact about both Thor movies passing the Bechdel test might be the most unintentionally, surprisingly hilarious facts I’ve seen all week. Especially given how much of a dumpster fire Thor 2 was, this may be its one redeeming quality.

I dunno, it’s not like the whole “Pierce is evil” conclusion was any less blindingly obvious from the moment the first trailer hit, regardless of whether or not he turned out to actually be Red Skull in disguise.

Yeah, but Prescott’s in a running-heavy scheme, and I’d nominated the Cowboy’s O-line for MVP before Prescott (I’d say Zeke edges them both out, but just barely).

Percentage stayed the same, last I heard (50-50). However, the pie itself got larger, as what is now classified as “BRI” has expanded so there are fewer loopholes for owners to be making bank on the side/not sharing with the players.

Don’t worry, we’re only a few years removed from the days of Billy Hunter and the players getting steamrolled in the 2011 lockout..

And extremely 1-dimensionally boring as a character. Great acting, terrible characterization — a Marvel villain staple.

It’s such a mind-boggling trend — Marvel hires some of THE BEST actors in the business to play their villains (Bridges, Hugo Weaving, Christopher Ecclestone, Lee Pace, Corey Stoll, Mads Mikkelsen, Guy Pearce, Robert Redford, and others that I’m surely forgetting) and every single one of their performances has been

I love that movie far more than it has any business being loved. Thank you for this.

This is literally the first time I have ever seen this gif without the good Senor going full Super Saiyan-2.

Don’t forget Ingram, Nance Jr, and Clarkson!

Alex Smith? Pretty mediocre from 2005-2010, in part because he went through a lot of organizational turmoil/head coaches/OCs. Harbaugh set him on the path he was meant to be, and he’s only gotten better since, despite his obvious deficiencies.

Level 5 autonomous systems do not require hands-on attentiveness from the driver.
