The Citroën DS. It famously saved France’s president Charles De Gaulle and his wife from a 140-bullet assassination attempt in 1962 by competently riding on 3 wheels thanks to its hydropneumatic suspension. De Gaulle vowed to never travel in a vehicle from another brand.

Yeah, those sports physicals basically take a medical history, check for scoliosis, and listen to your heart and lungs. They basically check to make sure you don’t have a heart/lung condition that might cause you to drop dead during physical activity. Everybody keeps their clothes on. Absolutely no parent should allow

This is being blown up to incredibly stupid proportions.

Dropping their 50-year crusade against women’s health would leave the Republican base with no reason to care, and Republican candidates no way to raise money from the Christianist rubes. So “death penalty for gynecologists” and other “we’ll be tougher than tough” fundraising is all they have.

This is premised on the idea that Republicans still need popular support to win elections to remain in power.

The fact that he won’t say what the “prank” was leads to the possibility that it wasn’t just a simple “prank.”

Pranking random strangers is his passion?...

I have (had) SO many questions about this incident.

Why...are the parents not being investigated/sued? I mean, I know they said they practiced responsible gun ownership and the weapon was secured, etc., but, SOMEHOW the toddler (TODDLER) got past all that security, got his hands on the weapon and brought it to school.

Any reason none of these posts actually say what the nature of the “prank” was?

I hope this woman gets a dump truck full of money for having to endure this bullshit. I’d love to think those parents would be stripped of their firearms, but we know that’s not going to happen.

Any attempt at comment from the alleged shooter or their legal representation?  Forgive me if I don’t take Cook’s “simple practical joke” statement at face value.

Covered, yes. But the endless hours of speculative coverage without any true basis, probably not. Sure you can turn it off, but I’m just trying to get financial coverage on Bloomberg and they keep sending text alerts about live blogging of what? A car driving down the road and Trump walking into the Courthouse.

Wow wait until they find out that Bud Light’s actual goal is to make as much money as possible by selling their beer to as many people as possible and that they’re willing to invest in marketing campaigns that target people other than dudes that wear Oakleys on the back of their head in order to accomplish that goal.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge ruled that the department and its prosecutors issued misleading testimony to a grand jury”

Have you ever listened to Christiano Ronaldo talk? The guy is basically a moron. A lot of these European soccer players are. They get put into these pro training centers at very early ages and have little or no formal education after a certain point. They grow up in a weird bubble where the only thing that matters is

Apparently, one of Shakira’s kids told Mommy that the mistress and her ex-mother-in-law while engaged in conversation called Shakira a witch.  Whole family sounds classy.

I don’t blame Stahl nearly as much as I blame her producers, who should have known better.

Yes, all that. But I was shocked that when MTG complained about being called anti Semitic and Stahl didn’t bring up the Jewish space lasers.
It should have very easy to counter just about every damn thing she said. The old guys on 60 Minutes never would have let her ramble on the way Stahl did.

Despite being over 60, I don’t watch much TV, so I can’t compare this interview with other interviews on 60 Minutes. I wonder, though, if there isn’t some value in having a non-confrontational interview with MTG in order for her to plainly state her views in her own words. I would like to believe that rational people
