No people are going off of watching streams of people who have completed the games in under 25 hours as well as data mining.

Yeah the complaints are completely unwarranted. The mandatory exp share, lack of postgame content, lies surrounding the reason for cutting the roster, cutting of over 50 moves, lack of online trading, and other problems are made up.

It’s difficult justifying paying double the money for a game with half the content of previous installments while other AAA franchises push the boundaries of the Switch.

If you don’t plan on turning off the EXP share, trading online, or using all the Pokémon in the series then it’ll probably be an enjoyable game.

You also forgot to mention the lack of online trading, required exp share, audio control being locked behind a key item, lack of post game, over 50 moves being cut, tons of pokémon not being in the game, and various other issues but yeah it’s totally unjustified.

Yeah there would be tons of models to make for the world as well as new Pokémon. The problem is that in 2013 Game Freak created “futureproof” 3D models of every Pokémon that would be able to be use from here on out. These models were used throughout the entire 3DS series of games, in Pokémon GO, and in Let’s GO P/E.

Maybe by the time it comes out Tom Holland will actually look the part of Nathan Drake. Seriously, Holland is a good actor but the youngest Nathan Drake could be portrayed is in his very late 20s. Maybe for a prequel it would work but I think they’re are better choices for the role.

But they didn’t, if anything it plays more closely to a game aimed at infants. They removed about 50 moves from the game which limits strategy even further. They also require you to have the exp share on so many streamers are showing that your pokémon are typically overleveled for the majority of the game, making it

They also haven’t said we will get the rest of the pokémon down the road. For all we know this limited selection could be the new norm.

Yup, perfectly sums up the legitimate gripes people have with this game.

$60 as opposed to $30

Exactly, thats why I’m not buying it. It’s the most expensive Pokémon game to date and on the most advanced hardware it’s ever been on. They shouldn’t get a pass.

Sounds really good, I certainly don’t need one but I will be trying it.

I’ll be skipping this one for the multitude of reasons that other people have already cited. I expect more from the biggest media franchise on Earth and I fear that supporting it will simply continue the downward trend in quality that the series has been experiencing since the jump to 3D. I don’t care if you buy it or

GTS is not in it

Just like Madden and Fifa

Yeah its only double the price as last time, we should be grateful that we can’t use our favorite Pokémon.

Exactly. People are simply willing to look past the fact that the game is lackluster and bad for 2019 standards but because it’s Pokémon they’re willing to break out the rose tinted glasses.

The game is apparently dungeonless

Basically the model controversy stems from the fact that Game Freak officially said that the reason for so many Pokémon getting cut from the game was due to an emphasis on making new models and animations. The leaks revealed that they reused the same old 3DS models, proving that they lied about the reason for the cuts.
