Absolutely tragic. He could visit countries you’d never even heard of and manage to make them seem like the best vacation spots in the world. His shows were not only entertaining but also incredibly informative. RIP.

This and Metro have been pushed to 2019. What else do they have??? How did they go from the 360 to this?

Going back and looking at the buzzwords they initially used for the game is a really interesting glimpse into gaming trends from 5 years ago.

Oof shotguns were my bread and butter and the jet pack was super useful and not very OP but I’m sure they’ll replace it with something better.

I liked Double XP the most, followed by Nerf Now.

Dang I skipped over that at first glance but yeah that would be tight.

Fortnite can probably run pretty easily on Switch so I’m not surprised. Also it’s incredibly generic, but Paladins will have a leg up on Overwatch if it makes it to the Switch first.

Even if half of it is contrived I love it. It’s one of the few times as a fan where you can point to specific moments or announcements that are truly unforgettable.

Chris Sabat is an awesome guy, hopefully I can meet him sometime.

Fallout Battle Royale? Oh no

I wish they would remove the small shield limit.

They seem a little slow but using it with stuff like c4, clingers, jet packs, etc will be glorious.

It’s never been difficult but it’s impossible to deny that it’s gotten significantly easier recently.

GF were smart to announce this though, since plenty of companies just let fans go nuts when it comes to weird spinoffs like this (Federation Force).

The question is how much of the spinoff stuff is included. Since gen 5 the series has ramped up its casualness by 11 and while I’m all for some streamlined stuff, it needs to be closer to the older difficulty.

I just went back and read it. I’m still concerned about the next core game though, since it’s possible that stuff like this could trickle into it.

Can’t wait to watch the brawls over the pointless Pokeball toy though.
