Yeah if you already got it, you’re fine. It’ll still play on your PC. The only thing that’s changing is that one particular product will not be available for purchase from one particular store. Which is pretty common as far as products and stores are concerned .

name checks out

I think you’re the one who missed the point.

Ha, I’m right there with you on this one. What ever happened to multiplayer games, especially fighting games, being about friends getting together on the couch and having a good time for a couple hours.

PS4 GoW really doesn't require any knowledge of the previous games to be enjoyed. I never played them and only knew that Kratos is a Spartan who became a demi-god and then killed ask the Greek gods. I don't think my limited knowledge took away any enjoyment.

And it’s not like this is a new phenomenon.

You can be thrilled all day, but that doesn’t warrant the pushback the negative reviews have gotten. The game is intentionally making the player suffer for doing the things the game wants you to do, and that dissonance can be exasperating. To turn on the game for it, to decide it’s not a worthwhile experience, is

So you think this opinion piece on a video game is clickbait content because it is someone elses opinion on a video game, essentially?

Video games are different from other media in that you aren’t just passively experiencing something, you are an active participant in the events. Watching movies or TV, or even reading books about difficult, unhappy subject matter is one thing - playing a 35 hour game of unhappiness, misery, and cruelty is, in a way,

So wait, in your world reviewers and various media writers are only allowed to play games they like, and if they happen to not like a game they are covering, it is “clickbait” for them to share that opinion (which is literally their job)?

I keep saying it, but the lack of empathy displayed from a lot of people is troubling and shows that the game clearly went over their head. Or it didn’t go over their head, in which case I don’t really want to be in the same room as them, because that’s a little scary.

People who fought for the south are not veterans of the US army. They literally killed US soldiers.

You had me until

Testing out third party programs that allow you to cheat in a multiplayer game is not what a beta is for.  No one is just cheating because its a beta, these same people were fully planning to carry this behavior over to the live game because that’s what cheaters do.

well, it is a beta. Using the cheats could provide Riot games valuable information on how to detect and deal with cheats and cheaters going forward.

1) Except they pay the companies a certain amount for the games they give out for free. So said game company gets a guaranteed amount of revenue, rather than solely counting on a cut throat market. Seems like a good deal for them. Heck, even part of this article you’re commenting on mentions how CA will be making a

Yeah, but at what cost?

Well the idea is they were racing against other real drivers to simulate a real race, and while there are other drives who essentially came into racing via simulation and have much more experience than others, they are all in the end supposed to been dedicated real life racers. So it’s pretty fair in that case.

Trying real hard not to let loose some anger and/or take it real personal that the video game-film genre has a huge chance at gaining legitimacy through Cate Blanchett’s casting... and Kotaku’s only take is to have one of its reviewers remind us that he doesn’t like Borderlands.

OK, Scythe might be my favorite board game and I’d never accuse Stonemaier of half-assing their solo modes (Wingspan should be on this list; it is an absolute delight), but I’d rather eat glass than play Scythe’s solo mode again. It is just a mess of complicated movement rules, pieces that don’t play like a real
