Thank you.

Noveau rich are the same everywhere.

This was not a case of caretakers forgetting a baby in a hot car. From the article:

There definitely isn’t much overlap between probable Town Car drivers and people able to run after going end over end in said Town Car. Granny and Gramps are gonna be pissed when they see what their formerly favorite grandchild did to the car.

that is a very good thing in my book.

The logic that EVs aren’t selling because they aren’t big enough is bizarre. If this was the case, then wouldn’t all smaller vehicles also be slow sellers? There are two reasons EVs aren’t selling better: they’re still much more expensive than equivalent ICE vehicles; and potential buyers are worried about where they

I feel like all the electric options are too big, lol. I don’t think anything’s as small as the hatchback I have now. But I’m an American that lives in a city *scary hands*, so I know don’t matter to the industry.

The Bolt’s the closest I think, but even that’s nearly a foot longer.

You think that’s bad, a Mercedes dealership in San Antonio actually charged me $165 for an oil change on my electric 2018 Smart ForTwo. They refused to remove the charge from the invoice because it was a “package” and also included checking the other fluids (same “package” price for gas and EV), plus they also charged

That’s nothing, my dealership has outright REFUSED to give me my free lifetime oil changes they promised on my new EV.

You will lose economy but not anywhere even close to 33 percent! Also you won’t wear your engine any faster at extreme temperatures provided you stay on top of maintenance oil changes and coolant flushes.  Vs this study is finding potential permanent damage to your battery at extreme temperatures.

Surveys like this are harmful to the market because most people are probably willing to stream ESPN to their car or pay for a Hotspot to keep their kids on Disney+, but I’d genuinely like to see the take rate as we get lower and lower on the list, below, especially when the free trial runs out. A good example are the

“I’m worried about the kids going to the bus stop. They’re gonna be walking down this road with these big trucks you saw going by, and people flying in and out to go to the car wash,”

With all those slippery slopes, I would expect more broken hips...

100%. But it’s not all manufacturers that have done this. Just the American ones, like usual. You can still get Kia Rios, Mitsubishi Mirages, Nissan Versas on the low end. You can also get pretty stripped down Corollas, Fortes, Elantras and so on from the Asian brands. Areas that American manufacturers have abandoned

A company that will gladly take my money in the off season, then disappear at the first sight of a dark cloud.”

Insurance seems like something that can’t possibly react that fast. Do they sell insurance month-to-month? It’s also ironic that this atlantic hurricane season will likely be weakened by el nino.

I have a Prius aannd it never charges to 100 unless I go down a very long steep hill where i am on the brakes the whole way.  The engine also start charging the battery as soon as it reaches 30-40% while driving or even as I idle the car for an extended period of time.   Between the two Prius I've had, I reached 100%

Pistons can be heavy and may not be able to wash ashore. Looks more line an empty shell.
