Few republicans feel shame over this. Jealousy? Yes.

We’re still in a world where workers can be fired for attending their mom’s funeral.
Yeah, that jumped out at me too… 229 kWh! I think these new trucks are going to cost a fortune to insure… one fender bender and it’s a write off.
And HEAVY AF. 9000 pound Hummer EV’s 212kWh battery pack alone weighs over 2900 pounds — REV’s is gonna be over 3000!
Not only that but that battery is gonna weigh a ton, literally.
....and for the record. It comes down to citizens like us ATTENDING THE MEETINGS.
But I defy you to provide a single council race where “negotiating the terms of the police contract as it relates to who pays for damage awards” was EVER a campaign issue. It is never discussed. Even when new contracts are negotiated, it’s never covered in the press. It’s one of those things that is so “unsexy” that…
“Maricopa County Superior Court Judge ruled that the department and its prosecutors issued misleading testimony to a grand jury”
The 4th gen has coil springs in the rear too. Suspension wise it’s pretty much exactly the same as the DT. I’ll be honest I don’t tow much with my 18 Ram 1500 but when I do it’s drives fine. I do get what you mean how the Hemi need high RPMs to get moving, the think it’s just the nature of the engine, but once it…
I generally have taken the same view. I need to replace my primary vehicle first, but it is tempting to take advantage of these inexpensive EVs like the Bolt after $7500 off for a commuter car.
there are over 130,000 public chargers across the entire country
According to the AAR (association of american rail roads), the median train length is about 5400 feet long in 2022
This is the same for my wife. An EV would be perfect for her. She drives about 15 miles a day most days, but she has a CT200h (Lexus Prius) that gets 40-50 MPG and it is paid off. We bought it used for around $18k 6.5 years ago. The payoff for an EV would essentially be infinite at this point.
I guess this will determine if I’m going gas or electric.
My only concern is that airlines will use it as an excuse to say “Suck it!”
The problem I have with that is that you’re buying the car with all the stuff already there. The company already spent the money to install all the equipment and the cost to do so was already built into the price of the car so now it feels like you’re be paying for it twice with this scheme.
