I’ve never understood the “Everything belongs on the center console” design. I think it’s only appealing if you’re a 4'10" soccer mom who’s always complaining that you can never see over the dashboard.

It looks so... religious.

Some of us are DEFINITELY not over that. I’m a gigging musician and live sound engineer...Apple’s vision for the future of audio does not line up with mine.

“my entire point is that this obstinate set of people who refuse to evolve their skills with technology and automation are part of the ‘angry rust belt voter bloc’”

The “Fiscal Conservatives” as they ironically call themselves, consider all Regulations to cut into Profits. In the system of Business you have Revenues (Incomes), Expenditures, and Profits (What’s left after expenditure).

“But if they can check on my previous salary, then why wouldn’t they just do that? Why ask me for my previous salary and then look it up anyway?”

I love how the CPP is looked at as “job killing” for the coal industry but not “job creating” for alternative energy.

I’m not saying that amazonrefugee is a pedophile and might have as many as 10 kidnapped children living in his basement as sex slaves, not to mention, terabytes of child porn on his computer, but I think it’s fucked that no ones done any serious investigations into this whole thing and instead have prematurely grouped

But isn’t this just another symptom of the music industry, in general? I mean, music isn’t the same cash cow it used to be, it’s a commodity of many 1000s of genres and sub-genres, most of which can be listened to for free and are released privately through public channels, coming from studios that people built in

That’s absolute bullshit and you should be ashamed for not knowing any better. 10 years in the industry and I can tell you some things about automation and evolution of jobs.

“Pages, couriers, mail room clerks, the secretarial pool, the stenography pool, switchboard operators, draftsman, punch-card machine operators, typewriter maintenance...”

Nice rant, only problem is that non of it is true. Technology has always created newer better jobs to replace the ones it’s eliminated. 200 years ago 98% of the world worked brutal farming jobs. 95% of those jobs are gone. Technology is the exact reason why the US has had such a high standard of living, all those

Some things to note here that should be considered in the whole ‘face off’ calculations:

What everyone wants is for them to add 100 HP, which means a beefier drivetrain, which means beefier tires, which means beefier wheels and brakes, which means beefier suspension, which means beefier body and chassis, which means... you want a Genesis Coupe.

Go away, people. Quit trying to ruin this car.

How many are Republicans and in office?

Fun fact about DUI check points in Florida from a friend who is Deputy Sheriff there, the police can not go after you if you turn around to avoid them. My friend also worked in Alabama and Georgia, this was not the case either of those places, turning around for a check point there was probable cause.

If Florida cracked down on DUIs like it probably should, then there would be practically no tourists.

Why not .01, then?

The policy in the article is a supplemental policy designed to cover costs that insurance doesn’t cover.

No, sounds EXACTLY like how we make dating decisions: Surface-deep observations.
