People act like GM dropped a fantastic, high-value brand in Pontiac but the reality is that it was a “sporty” trim level of Chevy by the time they killed it. It will always be the smarter decision to kill it in favor of Buick.

I bought a Ram EcoDiesel 11 months ago and the Tundra/Sequoia is a vehicle I cross-shopped. I had 3 reasons not to choose the Toyota:
Your calculations are correct, but your thought process is slightly incorrect for 3 reasons:
99% of males never do.
There’s that problem, too. There’s no motive to reduce prices when you’re losing money.
Also as an Engineer, I think it’s a pretty solid bet that the labelers don’t just have access to random data streams. There is most likely local data processing going on, and when it detects something the AI doesn’t have high confidence recognizing, it creates a data packet and uploads it, and it goes into a queue of…
For some reason, despite New York City’s density, walkability and extensive public transportation system, people still choose to drive cars in the heart of the city. When you take all the traffic into consideration, getting around by car makes even less sense. Apparently, lots of those drivers love to illegally park…
We have a short range (200km) Renault Zoë that can’t even fast charge and a model 3 LR. We did a road trip from the Netherlands to Switzerland, also hitting the Autobahn (200kph). The humans needed more and longer stops than the Tesla so it’s a perfect road trip car for us.
Makes a lot of sense - I thoroughly enjoy not needing gas stations anymore. BUT, the idea of rest stop/charging lounge has so much potential to be more than what we understand right now, that I’m pretty convinced that there’s a multi-billion dollar market waiting. Even the fastest charging EVs will be sitting for 15…
Uber was good for drivers at first because of a large pool of riders and a limited pool of drivers. You add more drivers for the same pool of riders and suddenly you have oversupply. Guess what happens? Prices drop, and it becomes unprofitable.
At this point, I fully welcome it. There are enough dinguses that need to be taken out of the gene pool.
I’m familiar, I’ve stayed at both of the Bluegreen resorts several years in a row. It’s about a 670mi drive.
Using any technology, unless you built it from the ground up yourself, you have to trust what the legal team is telling you. There is no evidence that any interior camera footage was being broadcast, and Tesla’s legal team explicitly says that only the exterior camera footage is shared outside of critical safety…
Sounds like you’ve taken a fair look at your transportation needs, which aren’t typical at all for the majority of the population with your requirements of “routine 12hr trips” which sounds like you don’t even include stopping for a safety break for a meal (which makes a great time to plug in to a DC fast charger).
People keep thinking this... but what if the industry goal is to settle on cars with 200/300/400 miles of range? With battery improvements, that means the cars can have significantly smaller batteries for the same range that we’re getting today. Lighter cars are going to be a must with the regions that are…
You’re making the assumption that those things are important to any EV owner.
Both had the 3.21 (at least I imagine the rental did). In either case, I purposely went away from the 3.92, I prefer the low RPM cruising speed.
If it’s not blatantly obvious by now, you’re clearly in the wrong and making broad assumptions that you can’t back up. You still continue to defend your position, which is sad. Let’s break this down from an Engineering standpoint:
Taking an ethics course and understanding ethical practices is much different than actually BEING ethical. It really comes down to the law to enforce ethical behavior. I’m actually going through this with my city council, right now. They are currently being sued for an ethics violation, but more importantly, they…
I just found a new one I like. Paint jobs that make the cars look like drawings:
