I fully understand that Power -> Battery -> Motor -> Output is a more efficient process than going through compressed hydrogen. You can’t get around that....but my argument is this:

1) The efficiency doesn’t really matter if the energy is coming from 100% renewable resources.

Are you for real? This crash was inevitable, you don’t get 43 speed cam tickets in 10 months by driving safely. The fact that they didn’t pay any of them shows that they didn’t care.

An armed society is a polite brash society.

I’ll have to look through our training materials, but we also use American Red Cross. I’m recertified every 2 years, I’m not trained to train others. I’ve never come across any training that puts much weight into checking for a pulse. I mean, it would be somewhat instinctual to make sure they have a pulse, but I can

Several years back in Tampa, a mother and toddler lost their lives crossing a 2-lane boulevard. They were struck by an 18 yo in a Mustang racing a 17 yo in an Altima. They all lived in a more ‘affluent’ part of town. The mother and stroller were struck at 102MPH. As a result the city responded by lowering the speed

Who goes car stealing and joy riding with 8 and 9 year old siblings in tow?

Sounds like the road could have used some strategically-placed guardrails.

The hell was he doing in the trunk, and why was that the safest part of the car?

EMT here, its more complicated than that.

I agree with what you said, except what I quoted below.

You’re discounting that you have to take the hydrogen, compress it, store it in a tank at high pressure, transfer it to the tank in the car, then convert it back into electricity in the fuel cell. All of these steps require electricity, and then you have your 60% efficiency on top of that. Batteries are 85-90%

An AED is nice to have, but if one isn’t available, that’s what CPR is for and CPR can continue until the flight lands and paramedics can board the plane. There’s no reason to believe the person’s chances would have changed with access to an AED.

Agreed, once something is installed, it must be maintained. That said, shit can happen. Anyone who knows how to properly use an AED should know CPR (myself included).

Most cops should just hang with the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and Three Percenters.

Yes, I’m aware (I have great eyesight, but terrible genetics, so I keep my eye doctor closer than an apple a day).

I’m on both sides.

Because we have Amazon Business Prime, Amazon is only able to deliver M-F. I learned that if I order on Thurs or Fri, Amazon will just pass it along to USPS or UPS and I’d much prefer it that way.

Anything that adds bling.

Tesla’s “leap before you look” approach is what will ultimately put them behind. They had the money, talent, and early start to maintain the lead, but again and again, Elmo destroys everything he touches.
