The point isn’t to get every single person out of their car, it’s to make it so people don’t have to rely on cars to get literally anywhere through better infrastructure, smarter zoning, and better mass transit.

Most people don’t have 22 mile commutes. And 52% of car trips are 3 miles or less.

You know. Cities and towns can be designed so that people could live close to where they work, or have enough mass transit to ferry people in and out of the city like almost everywhere else in the world instead of everyone driving their own car by themselves going to work.

Oh, and I’d like to mention, the “new” Z is a good deal, but you’re going to get raped by the dealerships because it’s a 1st model year.

I agree with this change and what it’s designed to do, but I do wonder how it will affect driver behavior and also enforcement behavior. Additionally, I wonder how it will change the laws regarding ticketing the DRIVER and not the OWNER.

During the day, clouds keep light/heat from getting in.  At night, clouds keep IR light/heat from escaping.  Not sure which has the greater impact day or night.

To be fair, heavy trucking is a massive CO2 contributor that isn’t going anywhere. Diesel technology isn’t making he sort of improvements in mileage that other ICE technology has had in the passenger vehicle space. Gas stoves definitely have their advantage, especially in quickness (compared to old coil electric), and simply having an open flame for certain types of cooking. Open gas burners also provide excellent visual aid for what burners are on and how high.
