How do Republicans exactly see this playing out?

If McDonald’s does that to your digestive system, you should see a doctor.
I’ve never experienced any “rest stop” with anything more than a few vending machines, toilets, and a maybe some maps.
It’s a misconception that widening roads doesn’t improve traffic.
Ford has the ability to rest on its laurels because the F-series is #1 best selling vehicle in America. That being said, there’s nothing really wildly special about it. The rear is still held up by leaf springs, not including the raptor and lightning. J/S, it’s popular for the name and not much else....honestly, they…
To start, this is a L2 problem, and while I don’t support the use of L2 on any roadway. to me L2 is only a stepping stone. L2 requires a driver to take over control at any moment’s notice. That means you’re going to go from being an observant passenger, to a reactive driver in a split second OR YOU WILL CRASH! L2 has…
So....just another case of another octogenarian (or in this case, a septuagenarian) driver confusing the gas for the brake, panicking, and then leaving their foot planted there until the ride ends.
I think we need to really break down what we consider an ongoing service and a hardware feature, before we decide what is worthy of a subscription fee.
I’d say luck is, by far, the real story here. Even if EVs have a ridiculously low center-of-gravity, I think we can really say, they somehow managed to stick the landing.
All 4 people were still alive and conscious upon rescue. It’s almost entirely possible the authorities simply asked what caused the wreck.
You never mentioned towing. you only mentioned long haul driving. I guess youre one of the 1% of ppl who actually tows 5 tons+ or youre just full of it. Why not both!?
I mean, its pretty clear that all these early BEV pickup trucks are really nothing more than fashion/status symbols. I am all in for PHEV and BEV but I cannot fathom using any of the BEV pickup trucks currently on the market a replacement for my current work truck.
Why didnt you just buy a minivan?
One thing I HATE about crew cabs is that the second-row seating is semi-permanent and have to be physically removed for cargo purposes
Don’t worry, you won’t be doing any long drives in this electric truck anyway... But the kids can sleep during the long recharging stops.
This is what vans/minivans were supposed to be for, not full size pickups. Remember when trucks weren’t supposed to be “living rooms on wheels” and they were used for work?
Depends on what kind of compromises they’re comfortable with. The first to the game is almost never the best. It’s hard to say how current owners feel about their purchase, since most owners probably just want the pickup package but don’t really do pickup truck things.
Lol, it needs to watch out for:
South Carolina, Ohio, Wisconsin, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and all Canadian Plates.
Agreed.
