I can’t remember the last time I was watching Network TV. I must’ve been in a waiting room, somewhere.

My local lots are filling up and the gougy price bumps are disappearing. If there is a car recession I might have to buy a car in the most vengeful and insufferable way possible.
yup
“I will not be silenced or canceled”
Did anyone really believe $39k wasn’t being sold below cost? Even the model 3 starts at $45k.
Completely agree, but this same rule applies to pretty much every EV that has ever been on the market. Unless you’re good with a base-model Leaf or Bolt as a true commuter car, you’re WAY overpaying for most EVs and it’s going to hurt your savings over time, especially if financing and insurance are also higher.
I’m paying >$1k/month.
Aluminum can clog up some cutting wheels causing them to wear or break a lot faster. There are a lot of crimes that the burglar can take all the time he wants, but getting up under a car and sawing out a catalytic converter like a banshee in the dead of night is a quick in and out job.
So....you’re talking about power OUT of the car to power an appliance. I found the image you’re talking about, apparently you can use the new Prius (non-prime, non plug-in) as a 1500W power source. This would mean you having to run an extension cord out your window to power something.
I’ll also bite at this one. I’m an Engineer, but I’ve spent most of my career and college life in machine shops, under cars, on manufacturing floors, etc. I’m currently a production/maintenance supervisor and Capital Proj. Engineer (I manage large equipment purchase contracts), but you’ll typically see me working in…
Where are you seeing a plug on the inside? I’m pretty sure these pictures are of the Prius HEV, not the Prime PHEV to come later.
I think it looks alright. It’s basically a non-functional piece of glass, so they have a lot of design freedom.
I was going to say, even though I cringe at giving someone a big or powerful car when they’re driving stick, having a lot of low-end torque does make it a lot easier to teach.
Nea, anyone can be an asshole, no matter what their belief.
You have some valid points, a lot of tech stocks are way down YTD, and while the Nasdaq is down about 30% and the Dow only 10%, you’ll find that a lot of the big tech companies are all down significantly more.
But some people just like powerful vehicles, no matter if they can control it or not.
The cops need something to fear.
Risky or simply low IQ?
You forget that the anti-vax population is somewhat of a split between the “government can’t tell me what to do!” crowd and the hippy holistic “I’m not putting something unnatural in my body, my essential oil diffuser will give me all the immunity boost I need!” crowd.
So, my top 3 theories:
