Boogie is such a dilemma. On the one hand he’s an elite-elite basketball talent who deserves not just to be in the league, but to be competing for all-star appearances and all-NBA teams and stuff; on the other hand, and I mean this sincerely, in my opinion no competent GM would want him.

Fair, but the other thing that “conspiracy” is, in the lexicon, is a red flag for “the person talking about this is a wingnut.” So headlines saying “Feds Investigating Possible Trump-Russia Conspiracy” would have their own problems.

Collusion and conspiracy are near-synonyms. Neither, free of context, is a crime. If my sister and I meet in secret and agree to simultaneously tweet something mean about our mother, we have both colluded and conspired, but while we could rightly be called bad children (our mother is dead for god’s sake) we are guilty…
