Well its all trite, and silly, and stupid to be honest. But I disagree about control. Apple is ALL about control, and by default an Apple user loses some of that control over their data and privacy unless they take active steps to counter it.

Well, all of the people who'd been boycotting U2 for all the greenwashed 1-per-center bullshit bono pulls suddenly find themselves owning it after all. Getting a copy of, say, Mein Kampf that you never ordered differs (considerably) in degree, but not in nature.

Off the top of my head? There was the "oops, we're storing all your location data in cleartext and anyone can access it" thing, and the "Maps is totally ready for release, enjoy your trip to the bottom of the East River" thing. But I wasn't just referring to past bad surprises; I was talking about Apple's general

Partly it's the sheer audacity of the move. "Here, have this thing that you definitely want because we're so cool and wonderful that there's no possible way you wouldn't want this." Partly it's because people felt like they were being tricked. Given its history, Apple hasn't earned the goodwill for people to look

IDK, I get very emotional about OS updates, but then I'm a PC person. Dunno how those Apple freaks think. Whether one defines it as pushing or giving, I don't like someone making a choice for me like that. I'm a fairly meek person but part of me inherited my mom's stubbornness and if you try to make me take anything,

My thoughts exactly! And, as I watch each episode, I find myself thinking: Aaaaaaaaaah, I love that and would TOTALLY wear it in black! I get that she wears white... it's her thing, white hat and all, but in a surprise twist in — hmm, maybe season 7 — I wholly anticipate Oliva being pushed to tap into her dark

These are gorgeous, but so many light colors just scream "I don't have to take public transportation!". When I moved to New York I had just bought a cream colored pea coat...I'll let fellow commuters guess how long that looked presentable.

A musician on drugs?!

You've clearly never seen White Bread, Extra Mayo: The Pat Boone Story then.

Wait, I thought literally all music was recorded under the influence? That's what every musical biopic I've ever seen told me.
