Forget the Man of Steel/Batman movie people are wetting their pants over. I want a Man of Steel/Green Lantern movie, and it better be a romance! Henry Cavill and Idris Elba mackin' on each other. Hoo boy.

Maybe, like Erin said, it's that dry humor thing, but if you say something like 'execute' or throw in the dungeon, sent off to Australia (or any other British old fashioned punishment) it's clearly meant as a joke. 'Stop pretending' just sounds (to an American) like this is how the British public feels.

After about 5 seconds of looking at the picture my lady-parts just gave a resounding "No". Pretty boys are not my type. Also dude they look so freaking young. Must now Google pictures of earthy-dirty guys. Viggo Mortenson in LOTR take me away. Dated but always a classic for me.

Context. Rolling Stone is a pop culture magazine which has glamor pics of rock stars and celebrities on the cover 99.9999999% of the time.

I think the problem is context. I get what RS was going for (which includes free publicity and magazine sales), but they didn't properly gauge their potential audience.

I came here to write exactly this. I don't care who the dude is or how hot he is, he killed people. I don't want Dahmer or McVeigh on the cover of a magazine being glamorized and glorified; why would I want one of the Tsarnaev brothers getting the same?

I'm a firm believer of freedom of the press and you definitely get the good with the bad because of it.
