I married my college boyfriend so I’m in a similar boat. I don’t personally like the idea of letting anyone touch me without a very good reason, so the idea of hooking up with someone just doesn’t really do it for me. Glad I don’t have kids!

Honestly I wouldn’t mind more people knowing this story. It’s absolutely horrible, but it’s one of the reasons why we have the Special Olympics.

The Williams sisters are known because they do more than tennis. They also have a clothing line and do commercials. I’m sure the men of tennis do that too, but like, does your average person who doesn’t watch tennis know who they are based on a photo? Probably not.

I’m probably not the target audience, since I don’t watch tennis, but as a casual tennis nobody I’d know Venus and Serena over him any day.

I have only anecdotal evidence, but my family in Spain knows of Spanish tennis players but Venus/Serena are still way more recognizable.

Can we be real and tell him straight up that Venus and Serena are probably 10x more recognizable than any male tennis player? Because seriously, I know who Nadal is, but I wouldn’t know a dude tennis player on the street. I doubt many others would either.

I kind of agree. Like, I think their cause was right, but at the same time they didn’t SEEM to care about this sort of thing until Will made an “Oscar bait” film. Then again, maybe they’ve realized they need to speak up? Who can say.

Sorry for your loss! I too own an asshole cat, but I’ve recently discovered that a lot of his asshole tendencies were due to stress and/or anxiety. We put him on kitty Prozac and he’s been much better. For anyone with an asshole misbehaving cat, maybe look into that, because it could be that your cat has some issues.
