My mom never let me eat those things because they were "artificially colored". Back in the 80's there was a scare over artificial colors that said it caused cancer, so my mom thought that all these things (basically, all the fun kids stuff) caused cancer. Okay, just because you obviously don't know, game artists are artists. As in, they have to create the things you're seeing in games by painting them. By hand.
