You can spin this women’s woefully obvious ignorance anyway you wish but it can’t be hidden as long as she continues to speak of things she has no real facts about and only emotions.

That’s the thing. Comanches are great looking in a rugged sort of way like an aging Clint Eastwood or Robert Redford. They could have done so much better. Too bad everything has to have a shared platform now days. 

The land cruiser J70 is gorgeous next to this. 

For those of us who grew up with the real Gladiators this thing is a massive disappointment. It fits right into the jelly bean mold as it looks like a wrangler with too much bed stuck on the back. It’s more like taffy though, melted and pulled. No creativity, no design risk. 

A lot of those cool, cheaper versions are missing the stuff that is required by the NHSTA. It’s not all about tariffs but for sure thats a big part of the story.

Is it an adjustable coil spring upfront? If not what happens to all those sensors if I put different coils on to lift it so I can run 37” tires?

It’s very different in Baja. Watch close. The trophy truck goes right, then left, nowhere to go. He gives a “nudge” and backs off once the Ford gets moving. Might have ruined some square tubing but might have saved some lives too.

Here’s one from the same spot in 2006. Local trying to take a picture. He lived but his camera didn’t. After this the authorities shut down fan access to this area but now it’s open again. It’s just outside Ensenada and easily accessible to a huge population. It’s called the Ojos Rollers.

I don’t think you have a firm grip on this race.  The Baja 1000 is the biggest,baddest, continuous point to point race in the world. Typically there are over 350 entrants from over 30 countries. It’s a really big deal for some people. Because you’re not up to speed on it doesn’t make it less of a big deal.
