Okay, I buy that but I still think there’s a lot more to it besides polar moment. The Vette continues to win and have strong showings besides an unfavorable bop. I’m old and love that the Vette is from engine, it’s tradition, just like if I could ever buy a Ferrari it would always be a midrear and not one of the front…
The Corvette setback places the engine in mid/front location but the transmission and rear ended are in the back so the weight bias is amazing where rear/mid has everything in the rear. It’s easier to get good results with rear/mid but the Corvette has found how to better it and they should stick with it. ‘Murica!
Nothing is truly mid engine unless the engine sits next to the driver. There is front/mid & rear/mid. You need to do the research and check the weight bias of a Vette verses a Ferrari. You will be surprised.
I wished Corvette would stick to this. The mid-front Corvette already has the best weight bias possible. I really wished they’d stick to their style. Stepping up the Camaro big time lately so maybe they’re getting tooled up to push the Vette up into supercab status but still.
It seems it worked like it worked like it’s supposed to work. The teacher married who she wanted, the school employs who they want. The real losers are the kids but the lesson is that be who you are and stick to who you need to be to live with yourself, wether your a private school or a lesbian. You be you you.
Ya cause no one would watch Monaco without Ferrari.
Everyone was sure Indy was in trouble when all the big names left and went to cart. It’s amazing how things just keep going.
No one is indespinsible in a group. F1 would still be here without Ferrari. Have you ever been apart of a business or sports team where everyone thought that if a certain person left it would be the end? It never is, there might be a transition and some major change but it’s never the end and typicically within 90…
And that’s when things went south. Engines were limited to 8 cylinders and naturally aspirated prior to that. BOP was much easier. They opened it up but still seem to be lacking in the expertise to bring about Good Racing.
The hp historically was not that big of a problem because everyone knew they’d never let you run more than 450 hp. So peeps showed up at that level to begin with, heck the Vettes ran the LS1 just because of that then the new Viper showed up and things got really weird from there on out. Now it’s plain stupid and I…
I’m just gonna leave this here:
This.
Andy Granatelli says just bring it to Tuneup Masters!
They’re 3400 pounds not sports cars. The technical stuff would’ve been boring. This is exactly why the last NASCAR race I watched was in person, at Riverside Raceway. Technical, challenging, and interesting is not Nascars forte.
It had to happen. Godaddy gives x amount of support and some team with a spare ride says “hey we got a car available for $$$” and voila. She’s baaacck
You’re right fossil fuels will never stand on their own two feet. Great line
Yes, we did get back the Tesla money but what about the billions given to all the other companies that have now gone bankrupt?
Well that’s nice that we got back a tiny bit of that money.
But that’s the thing, they were all built that way because that was the industry standard at the time. Being normal is not the same as under performing.
