Pebble Beach and Quail, NO.
My wife loved it but I kept the car activities to between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. So sleeping in and great dinners were part of it.
No ones acting, the same guys who were once young and love racing and adventure get older,it just happens but that doesn’t mean they retire to video games and Pokemon go.
There’s a reason people come from all over the US to go to Baja. It’s harder than anything up here. These guys are adrenalin and adventure junkies who’ve done the US and are ready for more. When you get ready for more look up the website.
I can tell you haven’t spent much time in Baja. I guarantee you that nothing in the US compares with the remoteness, the extreme temperature swings, the self reliance, coupled with the reliance on people in small villages when things get sideways and the extremes of Baja. It’s just not possible to find that here. You…
It's all about the kind of adventure that you would have a really hard time duplicating in the US. Pure Adventure!
For this ride most guys are on the Honda 450x but a few KTM’s are usually along. Honda has raced so long in Baja that any parts or dealers you do find down there are Honda and likely 450x. Most the guys ride the X’s too so there’s an abundance of parts brought on the trip plus Cameron travels with a pretty…
Trail of Missions trailer
You need a 4 stroke Offroad bike, (the Honda 450x is the preferred weapon of Baja) not a motocross bike. You also need a bigger gas tank and a steering stabilizer. It’s long days and lots of miles.
Nice win at Mosport Sunday!
Yes, Everyone cheats, (not really but great justification, this ain't nascar) I guess it’s the voracious way in which Ford went about it, almost as if they believed they had no chance unless they did cheat. No one is accusing Porsche or Corvette of cheating. Your logic is exactly what got Lance stripped of 5 Tour de…
There’s no sandbagging in lmp1. The A game at that level requires a commitment that very few including Ford are willing to make. I should be more grateful that Ford entered GT, I guess it’s all the hoopla that rubs me the wrong way. Other makes have been doing it and winning for years while providing endurance sports…
Oh no it’s not that easy. See you next year at Le Mans, or was this a one and done thing? Maybe see you in another 50 years? I should probably be saying good bye to you.
Someone wins Le Mans every year. It’s only a huge deal if you do it once every 50 years. Porsche has won the overall 18 times and 34 separate class wins not counting the 18 overall wins. That’s 52 total wins of some kind or another. It’s nice to be the Johnny come lately so no one knows exactly what you’ve got to…
I was a fan a long time ago. I miss Allen Kulwicki and Davey Allison.
Oh my bad, I thought Grand Touring racing was for actual road going cars.
New cars seem to do better with bop as the governing bodies don’t seem to be able to get a grip on the unknown very well and bop.
Ya, me too. A guy in San Clemente has a red one. Really cool!
That would be the cool part, different horses for different courses. It would create a lot of fun. Kinda like how the 911 does better in the rain and especially the now gone Team Falken.
