I'm not really a bells and whistles guy either but I can't afford a GT3.....yet. By bells and whistles I meant more like stiffer chassis, more hp etc. not sound systems, navigation, and seat heaters.

You answered this yourself. There are already cheap versions wether it’s a hot hatch, Miata, brz, Camaro, mustang, used Porsche, BMW, corvette, etc. why would I want a “cheap” version? I want all the performance and bells and whistles of whatever car I can afford. For me that's a 996 turbo with 37,000 miles and the

We never went back because that implies that we actually went there. Everyone knows it was all faked in a sound stage out in the CA desert. 😝

I love these but there’s just something wrong with paying 200k for all that great ford diesel reliability. Yep, just what I want, to be in Outer Mongolia relying on a power stroke.

The upscale baby boomers are driving around in 43 foot Monaccos with a Mustang convertible GT being towed behind.

I’m a bit of Ford guy but paying a premium for something to have the Ford name on it for no real reason other than I can wrap it all up nicely in ford credit loan is not a compelling reason for me to pay for that premium.

Born and raised southern Californian. You can have my car keys when you pry them from my cold dead hands.

Okay.

Well you just lost me right there. Apparently we have differing definitions of profit. 😋😋😋

Porsche has the highest profit rate per car in the world at 18%, and it’s even higher in China. Audi has the second highest at 11% and that’s a percentage of some very expensive cars, it’s not like those are 22k autos. For reference most makers are between 5-7%. Porsche and Audi should both be fine unless VW really

It’s a little bit witty as Porsche owners have been hearing about the “next 911 killer” for decades now. I guess turn about is fair play.

I don’t think they want out at all but the threat of leaving sure swung the BOP and bingo, championships! Porsche is fully committed to the 911, it is their legacy, the Cayman will not replace the 911 in racing. Placing the engine in front of the transaxle instead of behind is all that’s needed. So simple to say yet

Audi and Porsche would both like to thank VW for their greatly reduced racing budget, in particularly Nick Tandy in LMP1 and the WEC GTE guys who are possibly without a seat are very grateful.

Yes but it's not CARB compliant.

Porsche 911. 370 hp to 580 hp spread with everything in between on offer including convertibles, all-wheeldrive, and track monsters all in one model which incidentally has won over 30,000 races.

The point is you are wearing no clothes but refuse to see it.

Maybe but a 993 is no singer. , please tell me you're not comparing a 993 to a singer. Go read the reviews and road test. nobody in 2000 and I mean nobody thought the 993 was better than the 996. Stiffer chassis, better everything.

The king has no clothes and a bunch of fools are running around buck naked following him. My 996 Turbo will destroy a 993 turbo, don't ask me how I know.

Oh you mean these headlights. Ya, they're horrible.

You guys keep buying miatas and brz’s, keep telling yourself that 996’s suck. Personally I love my 2002 Turbo with x50 option and all wheel drive.
