Nimbus The Legend - Riding on air like a cloud

I can’t stand the idea of going to a festival anymore. Back when I was quite the young hipster, everybody wore jeans and t-shirts, because if I’m paying $50-100 a pop, I’ll be damned if I’m leaving without being covered in mud and other people’s bodily fluids.

True, but maybe all of those folks who didn’t vote at all or voted third party would use this valuable lesson and actually get out there and do their civic duty. I’m a dreamer, what can I say?

Yeah but there are still people that are just as blind as he is and would vote for him again. I’m sure that there are still some people that don’t know that the ACA is the same thing as Obamacare. People that are actually covered by the ACA to boot.

Thank god. We’d be in way deeper trouble if he did. As it is he just confirmed, once again, that it’s a Muslim ban, and made the case against his own ban. Keep talking Don, please.

to quote the great deadspin (nee gawker) writer Ashley Feinberg:

If there’s one thing we’ve learned recently, elections should come with a 90 day, money back, full product replacement warranty.

I think there are two separate arguments here:

Like how Chinese food places have the “secret” menu of stuff that I guess is less palatable to western taste like congee?

My boss constantly, jokingly, asks me to translate any Asian language he hears. Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean- doesn’t matter. “Nebulous, what are they saying?” he laughs.
I never laugh.

That is what I hate the most, most of the asian foods and even my ethnic background of restaurants, are cooked by mexicans, I am find with anyone cooking it as long as it tastes authentically as close as possible to food I have been eating for you years, if its different to the point of unrecognizable, then I would

I get the same thing. Also, the need to speak to me about marijuana. Like, really? That’s the first thing you want to talk about when you find out my family’s Jamaican?

This is actually my big criticism of the “authentic” food argument. You’re basically asking for dress-up food rather than tasty food.

I feel like I have met a lot of white people who say authentic but they mean stereotypical. Like if you try to perform what feel authentic to you, they feel you are putting on an act and you have to conform to their manufactured ideas about authenticity or you are not living up to their standards.

I’m not going to lie, I’d be pretty stoked about $200K. The idea of making $418K a day is making my head spin a little. What the hell do you even spend it on? Where does it go? Do you dive into piles like Scrooge McDuck?

Don’t answer. I don’t really want to know.

Yes, because at least they’re being honest about being obsessed with pussy. Whereas when two people boast about “keeping it real” in the midst of so much posturing it’s an insult to the audience’s intelligence.

Is it normal that their use of the phrase “keeping it real” is so much more offensive to me than blathering on about pussy?

proving that where there’s chainsmoke, there isn’t necessarily chainfire.
