I would love a movie that actually dealt with a Batman who was forced to kill for the first time and the inpact it had on him and his allies, too.

“This character doesn’t kill, so put him in a situation where he has to, and see what he does instead.”

I’m not sure Celebrity Net Worth dot com’s methodology stands up to rigorous scrutiny.

This, I hate streaming platforms that seem to play a movie if you even stop on the thumbnail for a second or autoplay the next thing it thinks you would like.

I’m very surprised if that is something DC actually said to Snyder at any point, because it is absolutely arse-backwards from how it should actually work. It’s not “This character doesn’t kill, so don’t put him in a situation where he has to”, it’s “This character doesn’t kill, so put him in a situation where he has

One thing to note is that you don’t actually have to hit play on Netflix to start watching something. All one has to do is select something to read the description, and in a few seconds the app will decide that you’re definitely interested enough to begin watching whatever it is. No doubt it’s some stupid programming

I really hate when people like this insist that a superhero not killing their enemies, or a superhero being kind, or a superhero not being a raging sociopath, is unrealistic and therefore should be abandoned. The entire fucking concept of superheros is unrealistic, very much including the so-called “grounded” heroes

I’d watch a Drop Dead Gorgeous sequel.

The film also makes a sweeping statement about what happens to the New Mexican land after the Trinity Bomb ecocide. “What will happen to the land? We will give it back to the people.” Well those NM people were never evacuated, studied, or supported with healthcare costs after multigenerational cancers continue to this

To be fair it doesn’t say she’s old.  It says she’s older than him, which she is.

Ah yes, it’s the rich women giving money to help people who are the real issue. Not the obscenely rich men hoarding more money than they could need for a thousand lifetimes. You know, the obscenely rich men who buy politicians, so that they can hoard even more wealth. All while paying proportionately less in tax than

This wasn’t as subtle as described, but I appreciate the added context provided about the scene.

If you told me that’s how they shot the fight scene in They Live I’d believe you.

Nah, what she said wasn’t the same. She just said when she was offered one she didn’t know what it was, and that she felt comfortable on her particular set with her particular co-star and production team. She didn’t say anything was wrong with intimacy coordinators in general or that she had any sort of mixed feelings

“and there are mixed feelings about it from veteran actors”

FFS you were not making “Art” when you signed on to Madame Web and you knew it from the beginnning.

This season would definitely seem significantly better if it were the second or especially the first season, or you hadn't watched the earlier ones. There is, as you note, a certain formula underneath the variations that becomes more apparent over time.

So before the events of the season 3 Emmit and Sy had money problems and could not find anyone who would give them a loan. They found some financier Ermantraub, who connected them with some weird organization. They got a million dollar loan from them, and their business flourished.
They haven't heard from this

The police chief hates Gloria's story because it can't be proved. Well, what the heck does he think she's trying to do? That guy's an asshole.

I was kinda afraid Thewlis' teeth were naturally like that.
