Considering he was on All That as a child, it might just be in his nature at this point. It’s all he’s ever known

Makes me wonder how Kenan has been able to do it as well as he has for over two decades. It’s not like he’s been hanging back or coasting - dude is still bringing it in practically every other sketch every week. And as far as I can tell he hasn’t resorted to being a heavy drug user or toxic personality, and has no…
If he never left, we would never get Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, so he made the right choice
If the people asking “How long is long enough?” were not 9 times out of 10 bad faith white knighting for their problematic favorites I might be inclined to agree. It’s just very rare that the question comes from a source that appears at all neutral or genuinely interested in fairness.
When I worked at a grocery store during summers I had a manager who would constantly put his hand on your shoulder when he was talking to you. Already annoying, right? But motherfucker would do that IN THE GODDAM MEN’S ROOM! Buddy, I am pissing. Keep your hands off me.
Yeah, I remember early on in the metoo era when there were all these totally baffled men who kept asking “how are we supposed to know what is and what isn’t acceptable in the workplace?!?” and I thought — um, don’t touch other people at work unless it is legitimately part of what you do for your work (e.g., make-up…
They also seem to think that fame and fortune works like a ratchet and once you reach a certain level, slipping back is an unfair punishment.
Right like, Sharon, maybe you should be mad about those grabbers and their lack of apologies in lieu of giving Spacey a free pass because.. guys got away with it on you? Shouldn’t you be madder at Spacey because you’ve been through that type of shit?
“Her point is hardly legible.”
Shit is so funny to me. What does she want to have happen here? What action should be taken and by whom? There’s no Grand High Cancellation Council that is refusing to hear his appeal.
This is the core of it: “But can I tell you how many men have grabbed my genitals in my lifetime? A lot more than Kevin Spacey has grabbed men’s genitals. And none of them has ever apologized to me.”
Well that sounds amazingly unfunny, and it’s very bizarre tha5 you bothered to remember any of it, let alone decided that it was somehow funny enough to share.
The tone of this piece is bleak. And accurate.
Such a great cast... And Lily-Rose Depp, too
Child, I am old enough to have made many mistakes, wronged people I cared about, and being given second chances with debatable amounts of deservedness. There’s a big difference between genuine penance and having almost zero consequences for your actions, let alone being officially rewarded for it. Fuck you.
I just don’t agree Hollywood is the *most* morally bankrupt place on the planet, nor that it has the *most* morally bankrupt people in the world, that’s all.
I dunno’. The Catholic Church still seems worse to me.
“Gender is spectrum” does not imply an even three way split. It merely states the truth that, well, gender is a spectrum. Even if most people identify as solely as a man or woman, there are those who fall in between in many varying ways.
Agree completely. The movie is only fitfully funny with some real groaners. The best jokes have little or nothing to do with Star Wars. The most inspired gag is the bad guys consulting the video tape of Spaceballs to find out what happened to the heroes.
Unpopular opinion: Much like the Star Wars franchise, itself, Spaceballs isn’t that great, overall, but it’s benefited from nostalgia as its primary audience first watched it when they were teens or younger. It features some gifted comedians and has a few good gags, but most of it plays like a bad SNL parody, and it…
