I am one of the few who believe Hirst is meaning to do the opposite and
is actually trying to illustrate to us the viewers how much the
characters truly buy into all their lies. If you follow the logic that
if a person is admittedly atheist, they know most are deep down, and
that most only feign religious belief to;

Well put! I agree on all points. I was just attempting to understand why the other commenters either didn't agree with you or were resorting to vague thinly veiled attacks for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Then the Dunning-Kruger effect reared its ugly head and i had to give up to save my sanity. Some people just

Lol me too! I do that a lot actually…

How about something like we will find out Ruby is a good guy and the knife can seal the mouth of the book so it can't swallow the pendant unlocking the vortex and unleashing hell on earth right when it is too late and Ash fucks everything up??!!! Nah couldn't happen that way ;)

Sorry, i was getting frustrated trying to figure out what you meant and you were responding more and more rudely and i got caught up in the childishness. I guess you're just not gonna explain yourself which is totally your prerogative even though it renders all this a waste of our respective time. I sincerely hope you

Nothing absurd on my end, i reread it and all i see is lots of eloquently reasoned logic. You almost got my point but somehow managed to inexplicably reverse it completely. I was attempting to understand what you are talking about (of which i still have no clue). Once again you have made no attempt to explain

It is interesting, as is your response. The connotation, i suppose, would depend on your perceived implication. I find all opinions toward things i enjoy (or even dislike for that matter) interesting as well as all the reasons behind those opinions. I just thought you took it the wrong way but you claim it is

Think R Betke meant: (It is) interesting (that) people seem to dislike the black character so much. Interesting followed by punctuation like a comma period or ellipsis would also have came across more cogently.

Brujo episode was 'A+ Synthemesc'

The best things you can't just start in the middle. That balancing act usually equates to tons of filler and constant recapping. Forcing people to start at the beginning and doing those things only when absolutely necessary solves all that and would probably be a better business model in the long run (not to mention

She could just dig her all powerful fingers into the magically strengthened wood. Which just further proves why it can't work that way. Even the craziest fiction has to make some degree of sense. There has to be limits to supernatural power or all conflict becomes pointless and futile… Thats why superman has

Yes that hits truer to the mark. Same with Arrow, i watch it but whenever 2 people are alone in a room and begin the superfluous dialogues, exposition and melodrama i mute and fast forward in quiet seething rage. If you can skip 50 percent of the show and not miss anything then that 50 percent is drivel and serves no

No that reasoning grants the evil omnipotence. Then anything could be indestructible and all powerful and nobody would stand a chance. Pablo would have hit Little Lori with the shovel in the first episode and she would have just snatched it from him and smushed Ash into paste…roll credits

I took that as a hint to the audience that she is interested in Pablo. I think she lied and she remembers everything from her possession like how she messed with his head and attempted to murder him (which was beyond her control but she probably harbors some measure of guilt or responsibility over) or how Pablo stood

I am with you. Its so cliche to sideline and kill off the only black character that its my opinion that they will have to subvert the trope and bring her back making her central to the story somehow otherwise they will just be doing a pointless disservice to all involved.

Some folks just need killin'

To be fair all of her on screen moments are just her being forced into awkward positions. I think she handled it deftly. She needs more character development to inspire pathos within the audience. Not just reactionary crap like she has been given so far. Her development has basically just consisted of her reacting to

Those are my thought exactly. She must get her own story arc, she has all those subtle mannerisms that helps create a compelling character. She hasn't had much to do yet though so it is just starting to show. Next season they will have to take her off the back burner and turn up the heat so to speak.

Booyah! This guy gets it :)

Clever wordplay but it would have given away the reveal. However, i for one will be disappointed if the next episode is titled anything but that. That shit is just on point.
