I mean looks it’s still REALLY suss. I mean he seemed like a ass to work for/with, he made some questionable choices around scenes sexualizing kids in the shows, though he wasn’t alone in that. Let’s be honest what TEEN show in the last what 30+ years doesn’t sexualize young people. But guy in his 30's hits on 19 year

Your son calls you grandpa? ;-)

You know why its 50lbs? Has nothing to do with the weight of the plane.

Yep, clothes, toys, favorite pillow/blanket, books, etc.

People talk a lot about how ‘Rise of Skywalker’ abandons most of what occurred in the previous movie, but what fascinates me is how it continually abandons its own story beats. Finn has something important to confess to Rey! What is it? Never mind. Poe was a spice runner and Finn is angry about that, for about ten

What the hell are regionals?

Wrath of Khan is the best Star Trek movie, but I’d rather watch The Undiscovered Country

I honestly might prefer TMP and Undiscovered Country to Wrath of Khan. I get why Khan is the most beloved, it makes sense, but I think both I and VI weirdly make better use of the cast’s age and Khan is one where I kinda can’t help but think, ahhh this might have played a little better for me if they had gotten to

I was not a Nick kid, so I don’t know any of these shows or any of these people, but it amazes me that I can’t look at a picture of this Schneider guy without going, “huh, looks like a pedo.”

Kids change the equation. I felt like a Pack Mule when I had kids along.

Dear god yes. When travelling with kids, all of your carry-ons are dedicated to child-management. Snacks, lysol wipes, backup clothing, a crowbar.

But if we expose them to the sun, maybe they will turn to stone and die

Yeah when you’ve got a kid there’s no chance you’re not checking something. At the very least you’re checking a stroller, but if they’re lap-sitting you don’t get an extra carry-on but have basically two extra people’s worth of luggage with all the diapers and other stuff that comes along with them (that’s even without

The correct thing to do when traveling for vacation is as follows:

I would gladly pay an extra fee to fly on an airline that banned carry-on bags. The plane would load and push back quicker and de-plane easier and faster. The whole experience would be faster and more trouble free.

Talk about a time where you really really didn’t need all those extra clothes anyway!

Personal Travel (with 2 small kids): lolololol, checking every effing thing.”

Used to travel a lot for work for about 4 years and checked a bag because I was usually gone for a week or longer.

One trip my son (4 at the time) had his entire suitcase filled with his train toys. I wanted to take it all out but he looked at me with those eyes and said,”I just want to play trains with grandpa.”

For anything other than a short (i.e., one where I can get away with just the suit I’m wearing) business trip, I have no problem with checking a bag. I’ve never had bags lost, and I’ve never waited very long to check or pick up my bags. The modern overhead-bin drama created by all the “I will die before I check a bag”
