Have you noticed any problems with LED burnout? I have the original k95, and right now 36 keys are burned out after about a year and a half (right before they announced the RGBs). The first went after less than 2 weeks after i bought it but I would have to pay shipping and a restock fee to get it replacement so I

That’s the non-RGB model.

That’s the non-RGB model.

One RGB LED is embedded in the switch of each key. Corsair partnered with Cherry to make the MX RGB switch whereas the light controller is made by Panasonic, as you mention.

The first keyboards out the door were pretty terrible for LED failures. This does seem to be fixed - I know at least 5 other people with later K70s and K95s with no failures.

After buying the K70 and having multiple LEDs die and then having it replaced and having the same issue occur, I can say I will likely never buy a Corsair keyboard again. My Wife’s K70 has about 14 dead LEDs after 2 years of use. I picked up a Logitech G710+ and have had no issues for just under 2 years now. I know

I agree with this. My Corsair K70 w/Reds is an absolute beauty of a board, while still looking and feeling professional. The build quality, especially at the cord, is a must-have if you’re a living room gamer that doesn’t want to compromise on peripherals. Combined with the super-handy pass-through(I switch between my

I prefer the K70 because I like having the extra desk space, but definitely agree it feels (and looks) amazing. One thing I really like that I don’t see mentioned often is the ‘exposed’ keys. There’s no cowling around them, just the bare keycaps sticking up. Makes it much less bulky and much easier to clean cat hair

I have one. I only have 2 issues with it. (1) it has no usb pass through, and (2) they made only like five in cherry blue keys. I had to settle for the browns.

I tore mine off, cut off that weird gamer tramp stamp to leave just the “Corsair Gaming” part, and reattached it so it looks like something I actually want to own.

Here is the post where they announced they were moving back to the sails logo, albeit an updated version of it. Kinda flew under the radar. They are going to roll it out as they release new models and update older products it seems. They’re not going to change everything immediately. You can also find refurbs with the

I’ve the K90 (got it at a steal refurbished) and I love it. Responsive, solid build, USB slots, easy volume dial. Want another for other PC sertup but looks like they’re thin on the ground.

Pretty sure my K70 has a USB passthrough for a mouse, although that’s it. After getting a Corsair mouse and keyboard I’m never going back to Razer. Their stuff doesn’t last half as well. My blackwidow ultimate died a sudden smokey death, and my razer mice have lost all rubber they ever possessed.

Star’d. I own the little brother to this one, the K70 RGB with Cherry-MX Browns on it. Built like a tank (banged on it a couple times, and it’s hefty) and responds well. My ONLY quip is that every once in a blue moon one of the WASD keys tends to lock up. Sticky spring or driver issue?

This is what I have at home and love it. I’ve cherry brown switches. Downside is the lack of USB passthrough.

The backlighting almost seems too good to be true... can you really assign any color to any individual key? I’m guessing for that to be true, each key would have to have multiple LEDs per key to mix colors (is that what the RGB refers to?).

I myself have the K70 RGB (didn’t need extra macro keys). I love the keyboard. Smooth as butter and fun to type with. I was deciding between this one and the Razer RGB keyboard that happened to have USB ports and a headphone/mic jacks.

Just FYI, they are in the process of getting rid of the Tramp Stamp logo and switching back to a modified version of their classic Sails logo. It's way way better.

Corsair definitely makes some of the better keyboards out there. Does this one have additional usb ports? That has become a must for me now that I’ve started playing a few controller-necessary titles.
