I would love to play GTA V in first person mode. Sadly, as someone who plays FPS's with nontraditional control setups this is something that almost certainly isn't going to work for me.

It may not add new features, but that doesn't mean there isn't a benefit. There are a lot of people who find mechanical keyboards to be highly desirable.
Sure do, but what's your point?
Most gaming specific laptops come with a pretty capable discrete graphics card.
I'm sure Firefox will support it eventually. I'm content to wait.
I get it that some people need/prefer these things, but the idea of using a headset for game audio just makes me shudder.
I found myself in the same boat when the PS4 came out and ended up getting the Turtle Beach P4C. The earcup completely surrounds your ear but the backside is open for ventilation and so you can still hear ambient sound.
This is an overly simplified answer, but generally speaking:

I agree that they did the sound well, particularly with the sniper rifle towards the end of the movie.
Was this really necessary? He's content to trade flexibility for convenience. Not everyone cares about having an upgrade path and there's nothing wrong with that.
I'm quite the opposite. It doesn't make me laugh. It just makes me sad.
These are the required minimums. If they go the same route as developers of other recent AAA games I can't wait to see the ridiculous recommended specs. Should be comedy gold.
Ummmm....maybe I'm misunderstanding something here, but where are you getting your figures from?
You're not crushing my hopes in the least. I played in the alpha and thought the gameplay was stunning. I don't think it's going to appeal to lone wolf type players overmuch but it's pretty impressive when playing with a party. It had some issues with unintuitive menus and needed some slight balancing tweaks but for…
Agreed. I love my Nvidia Surround setup, but it would be absolutely unbearable to live with on a daily basis without DisplayFusion.
I already know what the Xbox One will play natively, and without DTS support (at a minimum) it doesn't meet my particular needs. I'm using a Synology NAS as the file server and it simply doesn't have enough grunt to transcode. There are ways to address this but I've already spent a horrendous amount of time setting up…
If Plex was capable of direct playing content beyond what is already playable in the Xbox Media Player I would buy this in a second. As it stands now transcoding is not a realistic option for me, so I have to stick with my current media streamer for now.
Total spent to date: $1930
These things generally get mounted to a table/desk or some sort of frame. With a bit of ingenuity you could build something suitable for yourself.
I can't bring myself to do that. I like instant gratification as much as the next guy but if there is something computer related that I need and Newegg has it in stock they will always get my business. Always.
