It's not so much that I'm undecided as it is that for the first time in my life I utterly despise both options. Both of them are repugnant scumbags that make me ashamed to be an American.

Not to spoil it for you but you do understand that a typical "600Hz" plasma is really a 60Hz display? The refresh rate is not primarily what makes a plasma look as good as it does.

If you think about it for most adults stashing a copy of your house key inside your wallet isn't the brightest thing you could do, considering that your driver's license has your home address on it.

I disagree. 2 can be as bad as 1.

I don't religiously obey the posted limit, but it's usually pretty close. Danger aside any speeding I do has to be extremely tactical as my car is fairly conspicuous and my route well patrolled. My days of being a public menace came to a halt somewhere around the end of the Clinton Administration.

Depends on how you look at things I suppose. I've been known to gamify certain aspects of my daily life to help relieve the boredom of extremely monotonous tasks. The classic example would be my commute to work. I've traveled the same damn route for so many years I could tell you the color of every house along the way

In all fairness aspirin's benefits far outweigh the drawbacks for most people so I guess it's almost a moot point.

All too true about the difference between side effects vs OD'ing so I retract what I said about water.

lol I'm not sure using aspirin is a great example to use in illustrating your point. And drinking water isn't exactly great for you if you drink it excessively. Hell, if you drink enough of it water can kill you. Crazy.

If I've given you the impression that it's tedious I've done you a disservice and I apologize for that. Frankly I find it kind of refreshing to be give a game that expects me to pay a bit of attention to what I'm doing and my surroundings. You may occasionally be given hints of what to expect but the vast majority of

Actually things like the controls and game mechanics are extremely well thought out. The one thing you can never complain about is the game being "cheap"...i.e. if you die it's almost certainly through your own stupidity (with the possible exception of dying due to framerate issues, notably in Blighttown, but we won't

Seriously? It's a valid complaint. Why should he pay for the privilege of an uncomfortable counter-intuitive setup as a primary means of interacting with his computer? Think before you post trash like this.

Walt would be pissed. Cooking is HIS side of the business.

That's just it though, Android as given by Google is fully functional and works well. Nordictrack decided to take the Android OS and turn it into some sort of Frankensystem for your treadmill. It's not Google's job nor their responsibility to fix that.

Sucks that the macbook pro only has one drive bay. Most people use SSD as a boot drive and keep a traditional or hybrid HD for their scratch drive. Using an SSD for a scratch drive just isn't economical.

Car manufacturers do this, but it's typically appended with the model year. I just don't see average consumers doing this with their electronics.

Agreed, I have two as well. I have only ever come across one media type that chokes these things....and I have a LOT of varying media formats. You couldn't pay me enough to switch to a different streamer.

You must not have used Usenet for quite some time. For the purposes of this article (downloading media) Usenet is fairly streamlined nowadays, and I would never recommend a novice go anywhere near IRC nowadays. It's totally unnecessary and has pretty much become irrelevant for the average user.

Thanks. Lifehacker's how-to's are a great resource and explain things far better than I ever could. If I had thought about it I could have saved a bunch of effort and just posted a link. ;)

I've never understood why Usenet is usually only considered a viable method of choice for 'hardcore' users with the exception that you pay a monthly/yearly fee (which is fairly inexpensive at that in the grand scheme of things). It's not difficult to set up or use and is superior to torrenting in many ways.
