Maybe because I grew up in the South, but I don’t find it to be anymore racist than the North. I’ve probably felt more uncomfortable in big Northern cities than anywhere I’ve been in the South but that is also probably because I’m a GRITS.

As a life long South Carolinian, I love the south. One of the big parts of living here is knowing how to ignore the dumbsh*ts.
