I don’t understand how they can prohibit the parents from taking the child to another hospital for treatment? If the place they are just wants to unhook the kid anyway, why wouldn’t they let the parents take a chance and try whatever this US hospital wants to offer?

I understand the “outrage” on this, but I think simple marketing explains the situation without making it seem like an attack on Asian actors.

I don’t think being obligated to make a cake for a gay couple is all that onerous—but as far as that photographer from New Mexico goes, if someone has a religious objection to gay marriage, it seems like a hell of a thing to obligate them to actually attend a gay wedding.

Except that since real conservatives believe in the rule of law and in the Constitution that can’t happen as there is freedom of Religion. Now, I see both sides starting to pressure religions into concessions/absoluteness in that freedom of religion within reason. I.E. from a liberal perspective abortion isn’t wrong…
