Well, you live in terror when you have a situation like this.
Well, you live in terror when you have a situation like this.
I like giving this a specific name, but I’m not sure terrorism is the right one, even with the word intimate in front of it. I know that terrorism is the go to word right now, but it isn’t a one size fits all descriptor.
There’s a big chasm between whiteness and supremacy even as an ideology and opening fire in a church. I don’t know anything about his grandfather but unless he’s the Klansman high wizard advocating lynching, I think it’s a pretty hard thing to grasp.
Yup, that’s my Chicago. And then there’s this one, District 4 (I haven’t seen the show yet, but I’m sure Oliver HAS to mention this ridiculous shit.)
A few thoughts here:
This is my district, IL6, which was redrawn in 2011 and now covers parts of 5 counties and from the northeastern corner to south corner covers over 40 miles. In Chicago parlance, it covers both northwest suburban Chicago and west suburban Chicago - two areas that prior to the redraw had their “own” representative.…

We need to takes from each other’s culture and make a new, better one, or there is no reason for the diversity. Silo’s of homogeneity is not…
You’re embarrassing yourself. We’re into organic cold brew from local shops.
You’re delusional. Yes, their is racism in America, nobody in their right mind would argue otherwise. No, if you park your car in Staten Island your insurance is not going to be the same as if you park it in the Hamptons. Please don’t make a problem where none exists.
So you believe that publicly traded multi-billion dollar corporations have cooked racism right into their actuarial tables, potentially opening them up to billions in class action lawsuit settlements? Isn’t it possible that they charge more in those neighborhoods because it costs them more to do business - possibly…
Way to oversimplify a logical statement to plug your FTFY.
So, the insurance companies are racists? Yea..ok.
No, you misunderstood my post entirely. I’m with the Avenue Q song: “Everyone’s a little bit racist.”
Wow....the ol’ gender wage gap argument again. Remind me again why I am not strictly hiring women and saving myself over 20% on my single biggest line item expense?
Me either! As a good Democrat, you should be appalled at Elizabeth Warren’s treatment of women when it comes to equal pay:
