The sudden change of editorial from very pro-Heard to very pro-Depp has been faster than a boy racer coming off of a roundabout and straight into a wall and I definitely don’t put it down to the fact basically the entire staff have changed in the last 12 months or so.

Other than the 12 instances of domestic violence but keep pretending that a “civil case” somehow means something wasn’t demonstrated to have happened to a certain standard (in UK law it’s substantially higher than “balance of probabilities” too).

Heard didn’t have to prove that she was telling the truth, the Sun newspaper had to demonstrate that it was reporting in good faith and used Heard’s testimony among others in its defense. The judge ruling that the Sun’s report was “substantially true” does not mean the allegations were proven beyond a reasonable

I know! Heard had to prove in the UK courts that she was telling the truth. So what if she has had bizarre and/or violent behavior as well? That doesn’t invalidate what was done to her. Like, I have no horse in this race, but this shit is bonkers.

“Listen, Russia should be allowed to invade and occupy a sovereign nation, bomb schools and hospitals, and murder thousands upon thousands of innocent people in horrific manners to further the interests of Vladimir Putin and line the pockets of Russian billionaires, because the US has done shitty things too.” Yep,

One person’s ego causing a bunch of other people to suffer the consequences?

These games were great in that they were able to deliver focused and satisfying RPG experiences in only 30-40 hours (depending on how comprehensive you are). Honestly, we could use more of those instead of the bloated 100+ hour games that get outstay their welcome about halfway through. It’s like developers think

If it helps you get excited the first game, Returns, is a psuedo-sequel of the SNES one. You make your own char and the mechanics are closer to some of the tabletop versions, but it happens in the same part of Seattle as the SNES one just a little while after and more than a few characters show back up.

Dragonfall is the best for sure, but Hong Kong was a really good addition to the series and improvement with UI and a revamp of the Matrix gameplay. Overall a truly wonderful series. Hopefully they’ll make more of these games and not just leave it at three.

Not only are these great games, but they’re also faithful to the lore of the Shadowrun setting. There are only two minor nitpicks I have between all 3 games, the first being magic should be able to cast through glass, and the second is two characters in the first game being in the same room without killing each other.

I grabbed this for $30 about a month ago and it is an absolute blast. Tiny display bug here or there but super fun game. No clue how bad it was when it first came out.

Not sure how you gauge that.  Looking at their graph would mean they have several hundred staff still working on CP and the expansions.

That’s fine. It’s an amazing game now, time for the DLC then whatever. Make another Witcher, will be good press for UE5 (boring but whatever)

That’s too bad. This universe is cool and still should have more to offer with the support, but it seems like all the drama surrounding its poor release has taken its toll and CDPR wants to just move away from it all and fall into the warm, loving familiarity that is The Witcher series.

Anthem was breaking people's consoles, had nearly nothing to do, and nobody praised its story. Cyberpunk was just unfinished and slow

Revive the game? It would be nice to have I guess but even as someone that actually really enjoyed the game (played before the recent patch even, there really is a good game under the mess), I feel fairly done. Maybe when/if significant DLC comes out, but not really the base game again.

It’s a dream to develop for. Quixel + Nanite + Lumen takes care of everything. You can prototype in stunning fidelity and not worry about performance, which makes everything go faster. Faster to block out, faster to detail, faster to optimize, etc.
At this point, I just sculpt to high fidelity, create my single mesh’s

All of the points in the article above are well taken. I think there’s probably also some room in this discussion to explore the limitations of the public’s conception of men’s fashion when it comes to celebrity and red carpet events like this. We’re very used to seeing women push the envelope with their fashion

Rock was so unfazed

I sense a pattern in the editorial strategy of late
