Maybe I’m old school, but I absolutely detest video journalism. Nothing against your attempt, Mr. Klepek, but I believe it to be an evolution the needs to be un-Darwined. I enjoy Kotaku because it’s one of the few geek sites that still write way more often than they make a video. I would’ve loved to read the article,…
Man I just started my ng+. It was the same way with Dark Souls 2, and so I know from experience...this shit is going to kick my ass so hard.
Four months after being pulled from sale due to poor performance, bugs and various other inadequacies, the PC…
Flip side to that coin. My father, who was the biggest Star Wars fan I’ve ever known, passed away last summer. I’ll be buying him a ticket and saving a seat for him at my local theater.
almost? I watched it once all chill on the couch... then rewound it and LEANED IN and watched it again... my beard is wet from my tears of joy and excitement!
I get open world sickness as well. I think heavy menus and lists can be extremely overwhelming. We get them enough in the real world. In Witcher 3 i spend as much time in the menu screen as in the actual world doing things. Wouldn’t it be something to play a game like this without menus, just a map to mark interesting…
Kickstarter will always be a venture of uncertainty. We’re essentially taking monitary ‘potshots’ and hoping that one of these project will turn out well if they turn out at all.
Yes! BLAME is the business! I bought the Japanese Manga forever ago, back when the English version hadn’t been released. You don’t need to be able to read Japanese either. Thankfully there were very few words. He let the drawings tell most of the story. Wish it was a bit easier to understand, but hey. That’s Japanese…
BLAME! was Nihei’s debut, and I strongly believe it remains his best. Out of all of his works, the art far and away the most stunning, the atmosphere is unparalleled, and the storytelling leaves you craving for more despite never really telling you a whole lot. Like Dark Souls, it encourages you to explore the world…

The plateau. Those are the two worst words for a fighting game player to hear. To plateau means virtual fighting…
I got a PS4 about a week ago. Strictly for Watch Dogs (i'm banking it'll be a good one) and this wouldn't be the first time i bought a console just for 1 game. Also i have this romaticized idea that "The Last Guardian" will actually come out. I also believe that games now take way longer to develop and cost…
I think the real problem is how it's being advertised. More and more options are showing themselves in game now, leathal and non lethal approaches alike. But its the advertising of violence thats really bothering me. Cuz as a gamer you may not choose to shoot bro in the face ( maybe beat them with your phone instead?)
This is the only game whose soundtrack I've downloaded and listened to whilst cleaning the house. More than once. That's gotta be worth something.
That's the only thing i was looking for on this list. It is absolutely phenomenal. It seeks to capture the perfect balance of 90's action movie classics with powerhouse synth. 'Face-Off' meets 'Blade Runner', and they Killed it! It's so good.
There was 4 non original songs, "Long Tall Sally" by Little Richard is featured in the beginning of the game. "War" by Vince Dicola during the dragon riding sequence "Hold On To The Vision" by Kevin Chalfant plays before the final fight sequence. "Friends" by Dragon Sound originally in the movie Miami Connection…
