I just shed a tear, and giggled, at how much utility was literally shoved down on the crumpled panels of this vehicle.

It probably keeps the structural rigidity at the bare minimum level that the unibody frame won’t twist itself apart. The side impact cross-beam and door structure give the wee beastie a bit more strength. They probably bent the roof down aft of one of the cross braces. Also, it provides the driver a little more

There can’t be much of a market for $100k 800hp ugly trucks that can’t carry anything but they’re out there building ‘em, and we can hardly even get a manual sports car anymore.... Smh

I’m not a truck guy, but I’ve always kinda had a soft spot for the “street truck” thing. The Lightning comes to mind. Never my thing, but I can respect it.
